For me no it can help a lot, because through facebook my wife earned an extra income, posting her product as reseller and it help, so there is no way to quit facebook.

Social media is growing rapidly despite has positive and negative effect of some person, why reason to be quited? maybe because they expirences the cyber bullying or maybe your content to be seen in facebook is not fits to your age,, that's why to be quitted  for,,,or either some content of facebook are showing the bad influence and negative belief  to conflict you as person,that's why to be quited too

Same as you, its been a week or 2 since I quit Facebook and Instagram cause I feel like social medias is giving me a different perspective on how to live life. Because most of the pictures or post that I see is like a perfect picture of life and results to me that not being contented to my life and often compare my self to others. And I think social media consume most of my time instead on reading books to review.

But since last week that I quit Facebook and Instagram I start to have a lot of time to spend on helping the chores in our house, reading books, spend time to my friends cause before I used to be at my room and just scrolling through Facebook and Instagram. And now my perspective to life has change and I have a enough sleep today not like before.

For me, I wouldn't quit Facebook. If it's too toxic, then you can alter what contents you will be seeing in your feed or just lessen the time spent on Facebook. Facebook is really useful for me to be updated with the latest news/current events and as well as keeping in touch with friends and family here and abroad. It surely makes it easier to transact business or meet new people for opportunities in business, new jobs and events. It is a hub which is very useful for me.

Facebook was created to express ourselves which we kept. Facebook has its own uses it depends on the person on how he or she use facebook. We should limit and have the discipline by using social media- Because of Facebook mostly families reunited and have the communication. by means of facebook we can find new friends and also give us Passive income by Facebook campaigns and online businesses.

- How the people deposit too much into their cyber lives instead of the real one.
- How much time you can spend just reading shit-facebook-publications.
- How a lie can become a truth, and even viral, without constatation, and how people is willing to believe anything that sounds convincing.
- How free I feel without those annoying alerts.

Quitting of Facebook is not a big deal it is depend on the persons, because this not a compulsory that you need to use a Facebook,
because Facebook there is an Positive and negative side, the positive side you find your oldest friend even in the long years, and your relatives that you never meet personally and the Negative side some adds on Facebook is not true or they cause breakable of marriage. So Using or Quitting Facebook its depend on you on how to manage. I'm Facebook user also and I control using Facebook. Thanks.

    Well, for my own opinion in quitting facebook, it depends on the people on how they used it. The creator of facebook made it because he has a purpose, to entertain people, to kill time, to communicate, to let out what's in your mind.

     As I said it depends on the people, if they think facebook is useless then do not used it. Somehow if they find it has a good impact to their selves they loved to used it in their daily life. If you do not like what is popping up on your feed then go to security setting and change what would you only want to see.

I have tried quitting facebook for some time during the past few years and i can testify that quitting something that you are addicted to is not very easy at all, if quitting a digital addiction is that hard then how about a physical one.

I am now on a hiatus from fb. And it's not the first time i do it. But i still need fb to maintain communications with old friends and new friends. But whenever it felt boring, i will always take hiatus just like i'm doing now. And i already been blocked for sevwral times based on reports by bigots who overdosed on religious and politic fanaticism. It quite fun anyway. Hahaha

I am not using Facebook for more than 4 years now. Before that, I used to spend a lot of time every day in Facebook. I might have spend thousands of hours playing the Zynga games such as Farmville and Mafia Wars. Gradually I realized that the time spent on FB is not very productive.

I'm a fan of FB bcos of the creativity and success. I have an account but I only login like once a month or so, really at times when I have nothing to do. Actually its good to see old friends posting on FB which means they are doing great. And also serve an a reminder to me, I have not met some friends for quite some time so perhaps a call is a good idea.

Of course I think everyone got to be careful on their posting/info. Bad intention people are always waiting for a piece of right info for them to strike. Sharing too much is not always a good thing.
