It is good that criminals are getting exposed based on their blockchain trail, whether it is done by the ICE or a company like Chainalysis. What is bad is that basic privacy practices are not being followed by people using Bitcoin. It is only a matter of time before anonymity-focussed cryptocurrencies are used for such purposes.

@jjacob. I reckon Monero will be one of the biggest contenders as a store of value replacement for bitcoin. But the high price turns the speculators elsewhere. I recommend making a small investment in Aeon, a close relative if Monero and also developed by smooth.
