actually one can say that ICO these days has becoming more of a scheme rather than a proper introduction to the cryptocurrency community since i saw some companies after ICO has lack of development and initiative from the team to properly introduce their coin after gathering funds.
That is true, if the team is concentrated on fundraising instead of product or service they intend to roll-out, after 4-8 months (to be spent for ICO cycle) they may easily lose their context, maybe even developers who are usually bored by that marketing and financial tornado
