I recently found out about this bitcoin mining things and I can't start my Cgminer or BFGminer. PLease help me!

I made an account at http://btcdig.com/. IS that bad? Could it be because the workers are not working? Any other pool recomendations?

Any other things or sugestions You could help me with please?

Hello I don't know bfgminer, i don't use it, i use cgminer, one question if you open a dos prompt in cgminer directory and start cgminer in that window do you have some sort of message ? Some error ?

Probably i can help you with cgminer, if you can tell something more why it doesn't start.

An advice, (as in a lot of posts just said by a lot of people), if you pay for electricty, remember that gpu mining will never pay anymore your bill. So consider in the right way if start mining with a gpu.

If you are refering to the .bat cgminer.exe , I did that. If not i don't realy know :-s

im using BTCGuild but I think new registrations are disabled.

It shows all the different features each mining pool offers. Also, has some very useful introductions & tutorials on starting to mine.

I actually found that page somewere and did see it before..but to be honest I did not know what all that means.
I got to my pool when i clicked on one of thoes in the table but it was full and got redirected there


The bad news is CGminer has same "error" Istart it and it auto-closes in 3 secs. Same log page.

Witch pool you are subscribed ? Can you post the parameters you are using to start cgminer ?

I did not modify anything in CGminer after I downloaded it.
Atm i am using BTC Guild.

Yes, that is what he means by parameters/starting command. Check to make sure it is all setup right.

Yes this is what i mean, the only thing i see different from mine is that i use -o http://eu-stratum.btcguild.com:3333 ........

I haven't ever used without http, so try with my syntax suggestion and see if it will start mining.

Another possibility is to cut "2>logfile.txt" pheraphs the error redirection could affect the output of the program (or maybe not, i'm not shure).

Is there any step i missed? Is there only the Software verisons that are to new and they don't work yet or smth?

Not sure why you're attempting to mine with GPU. You should sell it and buy USB erupters or a blade even. Just my two cents.

Anywhore, I use GUIminer. I'd recommend it.
