Why is merit so special

Why is newbie not given merit?

As you can see from the table in the first post, merit is needed to attain the higher membership ranks. The point of the merit system is to encourage members to write high quality posts, and to try to make sure that only members who do so can reach the higher ranks. If the system works as intended, you can have much more trust in the fact that a member with rank "Member" or higher is a serious and knowledgeable member.

Merit system is a really good idea developed by the administrator for all the members in the forum so that members should start posting the comments which is high quality rather than posting thank you , welcome and all this 3 4 word shit. We all know people post anything here in order to increase there rank but from now if the post is high quality then only you will be promoted to higher rank as the other members will give you merit if they think that your post is high quality . Now according to new system you have increase activity as well as your merit to rank up your positions. And Newbies are not given any merit because they are new to the forum and need to know more about the forum  . so, now with the merit system even newbies and junior member would have to increase there post quality in order to rank up. Because the merit system is the newest requirement to increase rankings in addition to activity. You need to follow it so that your ranking will increase that why merit is so special now.

because it's hard to get merit, for beginners it's very difficult because it has to make a useful post for many people, and I think others will not easily give you merit even though it has made a good post

Because that is the newest update requirement  for us to be able to rank up and to determine if we doing good in bitcoin of posting and be more serious when it comes to sharing our thought ..for me, there is negative and positive outcome of merit .. let's go to the positive first aside from what I said above  merit also give as privilege to give merit to someone whos deserving and not just the one (1) whose popular and most higher rank and we all going to see which ones are serious about posting on every topic that is important to be discussed ..while on the negative side  ranking up gets more complicated because aside from activity you need to have required number of merit to rank up that means if you get the required activity and did not get the required merit you can not rank up unless you get the required merit and activities and  by applying to any campaign you need to have more merit so that you can get highest paid not just by rank anymore it is by merit which is I think unfair to us who makes bitcoin and joining in campaign serious because we are treating bitcoin as our part time job ..so we are doing are very best to share some opinion ..but if we do not have enough supporters of our opinion and someone gets mad at as we are not going to get merit that is required for bitcoin now.

Merit is important because it allows the Merit Point faucets to promote sig spammers. This provides them with greater rewards for spamming the boards and increasing the exposure for their scammy products.

This post was made as a protest against scamcoin pushers getting 50 merit point awards for trivial useless posts.

Merit so special because Merit is requtment to go up the Rank and then Merit so special because it is very difficult to get, where merit is needed to go up rank

so the bitcoiner is more focused on getting merit than learning from this forum

My opinion for this

can admin give 2 merit for every bitcoiner every month to get 1 sMerit that can be distributed to other bitcoiner. Maybe it can make other bitcoiner share without favoritism

in my knowledge merit is given to useful postings.
so I think it is a great idea to filter out post spam.
hopefully the future of this forum can be more qualified.

Different members have different intentions while joining the forum. Some want to rank up and participate in signature campaigns. They now need to post quality posts so as to get merits. Some people are here for answers to their queries and may not be interested in posting or earning merits at all. Both can co-exist.

Merit was implemented to filter and at the same time encourage the high quality post. It is one consideration to have you rank up. One may consider giving your post merit if they got something very relevant from it.

To rank up you need to get Merit points, it's not enough to get activity. Now you Jr. Member, to become Member you need to get 10 Merit (not that much, right?). Without Merit you will stuck at Jr. Member rank forever :/
