I remember when I was a child we can gamble even without money. We can make fun and become happy without money when we play. So, we can play without it right? Maybe gamble with money can make the fun more tense it can make them nervous when they already lose some of their money or can make them happy when they winning the game. Sometimes a lot of people made excuses when it comes in gambling even though they keep on telling about it "we only gamble because we seek fun" but we can see them very disappointed and sad when they already lose their money.

Well it's a basic thing for most of the gamblers to say they play for fun, for us money is secondary, fun is primary, most of the gambler's really have enough money, but we lack the thrill, the fun in real life and that is then made up by gambling the thrill when it's going red to green and suddenly you win, that's the kind of excitement and fun that most of the people here or your life will tell you. They're not lying to you, but that's the fact it is with gambler, you need to see it from our eyes.

I don't understand this:

Money is secondary, fun is primary - but thrill is when you win money - which you said you have enough of. It is contradiction because you said money isn't important and than you said it is thrill to win money = gambling to win money?

There is only a thrill in gambling when you have a chance to lose.

It is not actually the winning that drives the gambling, it is the excitement that you get from the chance of winning and losing when gambling.

To be honest most of the people are gambling for earning money over the fun purpose.So they are risking there money to earn more money in quick time but most of them will lose them.But sometimes I play poker games with money on mobile that is giving a good adrenaline pump so of we play with real money then it will be more interesting.

Usually people play gambling is for fun, but use real money to play to earn more money. If the people want play gambling but not have much money to play gambling is hard to play. So fun still number 1. Gambling is only accept money, because of that play gambling need use real money.

I always did it for fun with my real money, made some and lost somewhat in Bitcoins but all I was focused upon was the fact that I wanted to enjoy the matches a bit more and believe me, when you bet on such games, you get more excited than you normally do. Simply because to play without money is not so funny.

I used to play poker with my friends and I can tell you that the difference between playing without money and playing with just a little bit (like 1 € or 1 $) is huge. When we were playing with just chips nobody cared a lot about the result and were going all in pretty loose. Then, we started playing Sit and Goes with just 1 € (plus 1 rebuy) and people were playing tighter and they were more thrilled, even though 1 € is nothing for us.

Apart from that, I think you are right when you say that many gamblers don’t have enough money. There are gamblers that think of gambling as a solution to their problems, but they won’t admit it. If you asked them they would say that they play for fun but that’s simply not true and deep inside they know that, unless they are very lucky, miraculously lucky, they are heading to bankruptcy. 

However, there are other gamblers, responsible ones,  who play with very small amounts of money in relation to their income, and for them the difference of playing with money or playing with play money, is a difference on how thrilling the game is, as some others have said.

I agree that there is no thrill if you can't lose money but I also think there is better ways for thrill and fun and that's why I don't buy whole "i gamble for fun" reason.
Beside, whoever entered casino for first time in his life didn't do it because of thrill, he entered casino because someone bragged with big win or something. No one remembers thrill and loses next day and everyone remembers only how much money they've won.

I don't see any logic in playing game which purpose is only to win or lose money and saying that you are not doing it for money. After all, many people are using dicebots and scripts to play, so tell me, where is fun in that if everyone plays for fun?

In my view, no one wants to gamble for fun even they are showcasing themselves like they do gamble only for fun. If a gambler wants only fun they just playing a video game or just watching a horror or thriller movie will be more than enough to find those similar entertainments. There will be no need of spending hard earned money for finding pleasures.

Gambling thrills only for the people who risk their money. They do expect big fortune for their spending. If it happens or there will be any symptoms of any positive approach then they do get big excitement which makes them keep trying. Usually they do lose at some point of time and then do call themselves as fun seeking gambler.

I believe we play for money too, but it's not the mainly reason, that is the difference.

We are just not seeing gambling as method to make profit, it's a common mistake many people commit, trying to use gambling as it was trading for an example.

About these people using bots to gamble I don't know where is the fun as they aren't really playing, but just setting some configurations to gamble afk.

Also another thing is that when you go in physical casino their is no other option available where you would have to give the money and get tokens only to play any of the games.
