Of course it is still profitable but that depends how you invest or trade them. Choose the right coin or token and trade or invest in the right time.

Would advise to check the top 10 coin or token for a start which is stable and profit if you willing to hodl.

Profitability  of bitcoin depends on how you want to use it.  Do you want to use it as a store of value for investment or for money transfer  purpose? Bitcoin is profitable  for achieving  these aim.

Bitcoin is always beneficial.
As an investment, and as storage. Yes, whatever. To date, this is the No. 1 crypto currency.

Greetings everyone,

I am new to crypto currency and have been reading and learning about Bitcoin mining. I am curious if it is still profitable?

I think, it is not proper time for you to start Bitcoin mining.Mining is more risky than all other option.

Bitcoin mining is a business now and we should leave it for them who treat it in that way. The casual days of mining on CPU or GPU are gone. However, if you can set up a mining farm basic setup with the required hardware and if you have skills to maintain it then you can definitely go with that way. I believe that mining is not a quick money business and you mine the coins and get returns in the future when the price of those mined coins gain some value that is worth more than your investment in mining.

Bitcoin mining is not much profitable if you are mining where the cost of electricity is high there are a lot of factors like difficulty which may affect your mining output. I tried it at home and finally decided to shut it down and started mining through cloud mining. But its risky.

It's very profitable alt coin mining Rather than going to bitcoin mining. Because bitcoin mining cause high cost and need better technical knowledge.

Hi and welcome to the forum,

In many ways it can be profitable, look at the swings and the amount of new projects that are starting each day. The amount of growth is enormous. B aware though to choose the right projects.

No. Mining is total crap.
Just buy BTC and wait 5 years.

Bitcoin mining is profitable but not just easy , to do mining you need a lot of money to buy a buy a highest PC rig, mining is cost of high electricity. For me it's better to trading or join in campaign than to mining.

Greetings everyone,

I am new to crypto currency and have been reading and learning about Bitcoin mining. I am curious if it is still profitable?

That totally depends upon several factors:

1. Power or electricity cost
2. The power of hashrates of your rigs
3. Which coins do you mine
4. How low or high difficulty at the time you mine the coin
5. Block rewards of the coin.
6. Block time of the coin.

hope it helps
wow, a lot of factors. Which coins are profitable to mine?

I think, buy some tokens on ICO and hodl it on a long term bring more profit than mining. But if you have free electricity of course i'm trying to mine some altcoins.

Bitcoin mining is actually not the best thing you can do right now. Mining altcoins is better than bitcoin if you have just free electricity or powerful rigs, Why not. Begginers like you should start learn Trading, ICOs, Aidrop, bountys etc. Mining is best for electric low fee country.
