Japan already made bitcoin a legal currency. Would you consider your countries to also pass a law recognizing bitcoin as a legal form of currency?

Government should really try to consider legalizing cryptocurrencies for these allow faster transactions. Since lots of people are into these trends, government may get something in return.

I do hope so bitcoin gets legalized in my country, as of now it is standing neutral though It is also gaining alot of attention in my country, though I also understand why some countries demands to ban bitcoin, it is because of its anonymity, people can send payments without getting traced, because of this people can buy illegal stuffs which is dangerous because governments would be pressing alot to ban btc.
We are all hoping that time will come when our government will consider bitcoin as a legal global currency but we don't really know the exact thing that will happen in the future, hope that it will really happen let us just do our part for that to happen.
true all of us that have been taking this currency for some transaction online and also how comfortable this for we are all hoping that this currency may become legal all over the world to be used for.

I think that should not, because it will instantly affect the entire financial system, where the main market regulator will be large investors. This will affect primarily the banking sector, followed by the stock and foreign exchange chain due to the outflow of assets. Everything should be done gradually and very smoothly, and only if the state takes control of the main part of the cryptocurrency market, in any other way.

Yes, I believe that my country should accept cryptocurrencies. But intuition suggests that this will not happen for a long time. Corruption rules in our country.

Now the government does not support the currency trading in many countries, these countries is not friendly to the currency, the government will no currency as legal tender, the currency is anonymous, is scattered, countries can't control, countries cannot make supervision to the currency, so don't put the COINS as a legal tender

I think If the Japanese have done it, why do not we? This bitcoin consideration should put us one step ahead in a society without cash. Even if there is a risk in allowing bitcoin as a global currency, I know that someday in the near future there will be answers how to fix it.
But of course the government should consider bitcoin in the near future as the global currency is legal due to the fact that bitcoin is widespread throughout the world and can be used almost everyone.

For me the BTC will never be considered a real legal currency but will soon be recognized as a valid means of payment as it happens with checks, credit cards and other payment cards. The only legal currency will remain the fiat currency.

If for now the government in my country has not acknowledged the existence of bitcoin officially but it is most likely to happen and can provide an opportunity for someone to continue to invest and allows for many businesses that utilize the existence of bitcoin as a payment process.

Eventually all governments in the world will recognize bitcoin as an official and bonafide global currency. But as of now, due to its unstable nature and high volstility rate, not even its developers could be able to recognizezit as an official currency that can be used in daily transactions. Time will come when bitcoin would be stable, and we wouldn't have to worry about bitcoin not being declared as a currency. With the continuous innovation provided by the blockchain technology there's no doubt it will someday improve bitcoin's stability.

The government should allow or consider bitcoin as a legal globe currency so that transactions will be made easy and there will be no discrimination to other countries that the value of their money is higher than the other. And I believe that through the bitcoin as a global currency we will achieve unity and peace.

That decision will be dependable on the people usage if Bitcoin will be legalized and already been legally accepted by the government of a certain state or country. As far as I know, there are people who have been using Bitcoin and other types of cryptocurrency even their government was still not agreeing with it but they are just free to use it because maybe the government was still observing what will be the possible outcome if ever Bitcoin will be legalized as a currency so maybe in the near future, government will certainly legalize Bitcoin usage.

As if they have other options. Governments can not just sit by and allow criminals to use bitcoin in scamming people. They may not gain total control, but they can at least regulate its use. And at the same time, help in promoting cryptocurrency.

Interesting question.
OK, assume that some country really accept bitcoin as legal currency.
For the national currency we know who is responsible, central bank and government.
They print money and are legally responsible if anything happens like theft of money, abuse etc.
What about bitcoin?
Who can be legally responsible for bitcoin?
Local government, central bank?
What about legal protection?
No way that bitcoin can become legal and accepted as official currency.

For me it would be nice if btc is legalized. The common people would greatly benefit from it and maybe help with poverty and change lives. The big problem though is greed. From people who wants power. They cannot control btc that is why a lot of people think negatively and bad mouths btc and wants it to fail

Agreed, government should embrace Bitcoin as a legal global currency, because it gives a lot of opportunity to society and it gives numerous jobs. Although not everyone holding or having Bitcoin but then it gives opportunity to earn or have a job from it.

I think the government will not accept bitcoin as a legal currency, because the government is afraid bitcoin will be misused for illegal transactions, such as money laundering, financing of terrorism, the government also assumes that later if the bitcoin currency is legal it can disrupt the financial system stability country.

I guess yes, a country with a legal bitcoin currency is a good idea. Paying your bills with bitcoin would be easier and not time consuming.

Smiley Smiley  when the government talks about such a bitcoin situation as a legal global currency around the world. it can happen because it is not illegal and it is a legal bitcoin government. for me when it happens that maybe everyone is not in trouble and all over the country because this is a bitcoin and no bit of trouble because of bitcoin the economy in the country can be fine because of a global bitcoin currency. because it has been a huge currency for all and its high percentages so it should have happened.

Of course as a crypto user we will consider it...  Why not?  It is what we are dreaming of.....  We are hoping that every country soon legalize the uses of cryptocurrency.... But the decision is made by our government....  They are the one who has the authority to legalize bitcoin in our country.... If the government agree and recognize it soon the people will follow...  Because it start first in the government before us....  But we must do everything to show to the whole world that bitcoin is truly great in modernizing our world....

It's not that widely used to considered as legal tender however government should support it, banks+crypto is good combination.
