Hello,

We use Bitpay for accepting bitcoin payments for our service. I don't care for their service at all and would like to take payments directly. Can someone tell us what we have to setup/configure to accept a BTC payment, verify it through the Bitcoin network, and have the payments go to our wallet? We have Linux servers.

Thanks.

Far as I know the easiest thing to do would be run bitcoin-qt. You can make a new wallet address for each individual order and put the order number as the label to keep track. Then you can view the details of each individual transaction, view how many confirmations it has etc...

Depending on your volume of orders you may need something more automated which I know nothing about. Sure would be interesting to hear if anyone else knew of something automated though.

Please DO NOT send me private messages asking for help setting up GPU miners. I will not respond!!!
