I am quite exhausted from all this Merit drama. People coming back again and again with same thing. The ultimate reason behind it is signature campaign. Here, I'm asking the question to our loyal community what is their option in case signature campaign's story comes to an end and it goes forever from the Bitcointalk.org
And don't forget to comment your reason below.
My reason - I left my job in August and now i'm a full time bitcoin trader. I know that's horrifying but I also have other sources of income than bitcoin.

A lot of people will leave. You may see decrease in total number of registrations per day. But why will the admin let something like that happen. Also, since this is the most popular crypto forum, I only see increase in number of those campaigns.

I'm not here only for the signature campaign, sure it's tempting to get some extra cash in a way but hey, this is the future, bitcoin is much more than just an investment assets as almost everyone is seen it. It is a freedom, it is possibly and it is solution. The blockchain itself has revolutionised already the business world and giving freedom to the good ideas to develop and succeed. I'm here to learn, ot understand, to know. This is just the beginning and it will be as big as the Internet or even bigger. I don't really care about the signature campaigns. If they are gone, it's OK. I'm enjoying my time here and I don't support my family from the bounty campaigns here.

I would love it if the campaigns were completely banned. But if that was true we wouldn't have many of the projects that are currently in existence practically like every single worthy alt-coin projects out there. Ethereum, Monero, etc were all started here first. If you ban campaigns, you are basically saying bye-bye to the future potential world changers. It's annoying to put up with all the crap but I think it would be really dumb to ban campaigns.

95% of people would leave. The rest who have a signature campaign would likely significantly decrease their time spent here. The forum would then just be populated by people who actually just wanted to talk about bitcoin without the financial reward. I would love it if the campaigns were completely banned. Why would alt coins cease to exist without signature campaigns here? There is at least one other board that allows campaigns but doesn't have anywhere near the traffic to make them worthwhile but they would soon get it if this one banned signature campaigns as there would be thousands of refugees that would flock there.

For me signature campaigns are just an additional way to get more crypto, I have not cashed a single cent from them yet. I have a regular job and I can certainly live without them. But I admit I would post less, since I am mostly a reader. In fact, I started reading this forum long before registering this account.

One reason I join this furom is to earn token which I can turn to Fiat someday and to add on my savings. incase if, but I'm hoping it will not, campaign will be no longer available in this furom, I will expand my knowledge on trading and investment, and I'll try my luck.
Predicting then the future is a good idea but it is better if you go to the positive side 😪.

When I found Bitcointalk, I didn't knew what is signature campaign and only later I joined Yobit campaign. If all signature campaigns will end (or it will be banned), I still would stay on Bitcointalk. I didn't came here for signature campaigns, I have other sources of Bitcoin earning. Offcourse, it's good to additional source of BTC, which is higher than minimal wage in my country. I'm sure that if signature campaigns will end, I would become less active on Bitcointalk, maybe would make less posts, but still, I would visit forum few times a day. But I imagine how 3rd world spammers would start to cry and complain if there will be no more sig campaigns.

In all honesty I think it would make this forum a better place. I'm pro-merit for now, but it's too early to say whether it will turn out to be an effective measure in fighting shitposts and outright spam. What would most definitely rid this place of spam, low quality content, account farming and the majority of useless accounts bringing absolutely NOTHING to the table would be the disappearance of signature campaigns. That would actually be the easiest way to make this forum great again.
