Meriting to each other is allowed as far as I'm concerned as long as Meriting to your another account is considered allowed however there will be a certain time that you can't do anything about (your) another account, it will be a Member for a long time if you didn't post constructive consecutively.

If you don't know there is a certain amount of merit that you can only send, and if someone send you a merit half of it is unspendable, you will only get spendable merit next month, and so on so forth that way it prevents newly created account to be a higher rank with average amount of time spend in this forum they also need to have a higher amount of quality of post.

This is a good system, and certainly can reduce the spammers, Maybe it just needs some improvisation such as reducing the minimum merit on each rank and make a timer to sendinga merit to avoid sending merit 2 times simultaneously. Btw you still have a few months to reach Sr.Member so I guess you can try to make more constructive and positive post , Then you can reach Sr.Member  Grin.

While I may only need 1 more week to go up to full member but merit system implemented, bad luck me hahaha. But its ok for the better future of forums.

if meritting each other with my friend is considered illegal according to the forum rules
Idk but i think it's ok (Maybe). Sorry for my bad english and good luck!

No one judge you and your friend about that, but please don't abuse merit system that way. By doing this, you will put Theymos under pressure to implement stricter rules on the current system. Can you imagine the sort of scenario like this? It will be not good for all of us in long-term. So please do the right things, by which I mean contribute the forum with high-qualitied posts and topics, to get free merits as presents from others.
