Hi folks,

Anybody got some tips on how to dissipate heat from mining rigs?

the cards are reporting about 55-60C but it warms up the space quite well.

Normal room temp is about 10-20C over here.

Goes up to about 23-25C.

Thinking Im doing something wrong. Been running a fan at the rigs 24/7 but heat seems to get trapped in the room.

Saw some youtubers with air flowing thru across the room. No AC.

How do you guys deal with heat issues?

Is it necessary to run an AC when the temps go up to 20-30C ?

Thanks in advance, folks!

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

you should calculate you room sq³ and than get an air exhaust fan according to your room
also left some window maybe for air to flow in, it will do the job

Where would you stick the exhaust fan? unfortunately the room isnt arranged for this type of config.

Is anyone doing this in a custom built backyard shaft?

That seems like an ideal solution to me.... custom shaft with just enough sqft to house the rigs, with intake and exhaust fans... but would take much more work than Im presently accustomed to....

all my farms are in a buildings that support such a config, I never did it like what you said, but I'm pretty sure that will be fun to build also much more efficient when you are fitting building to rigs not vise versa.
Also the config is quite efficient even tho temps in summer hit here 29-31C(July-August), the goal is to keep the same temp inside that's outside
