Darknet market places are making big changes behind the scene due to several of their trading grounds have been shout down and
seized by law enforcement agencies this past year.there is high demand of privacy and anonymity.This means that the use of payment solutions such as
Bitcoin and
Bitcoin Cash are no longer sufficient.
Dream Market,currently the top Darknet marketplace, is integrating to monero, they asked their vendors to set their preference to use Monero or nor, It's a big change for all parties that was involved.
In fact, Bitcoin wasn’t adopted by the darknet either until it became more easy to use. Monero is going down a very similar way, with addes bonus of being same cryptocurrency. Moreover it posses such privacy and anonymity features built in at the protocol level. Even users can make still every aspect of their transaction and transfers public if they prefer to do so. Giving the user the ability to be transparent is better that giving them an option to obtain more privacy.
