Hello everybody, I'm new to the world of bitcoins, but I assure you, I'm ready to invest in to it some. Problem is.. I have no money to invest (Found out I need around 3.055 to start) Anyways, I was just wondering If I could have some small donations to understand how bitcoins work. I have a offline wallet which is secure. When I have my miner, I will be sure to pay back the money that has been sent to me, just send me a pm with address and I'll get it right back to you. I'm going to go with a 5Gh/s Model from Butterfly Labs.

Thank you for your time!

Btw, I would take out a loan but I lack some of the qualifications :/ due to not have started yet.

1. What kind of collateral can you provide?

2. Are you aware of the fact that this miner will probably not even pay for itself?

You're pretty late to order a BFL device now, plus asking for donations isn't the way to go. If you're serious about getting into mining then get a job and then maybe you can buy one or something but ROI is something to keep in mind.

Hello, I've look at the calculator and it says I will earn at least $12 a day, in about 2-4 months, I will have the money back for it, and sorry.. I really can not provide a collateral :/

You could probably just beg for money on the street and then use that money to buy Bitcoins.

There was a guy in the UK who made 50K GBP a year from begging, no tax either and got a free house from the Government that's about 75K USD.

You need to read up about Bitcoin and a little thing called difficulty.

You will not get ROI on your Jalapeno even if you would have received it last month.

If you want to learn how Bitcoin works, your best bet is to get some coins on the Test net: https://tpfaucet.appspot.com/

You can viably mine with 5 GH/s on Test as well.

Define "viable." I've found 50 BTC blocks with my CPU on the testnet. Since testcoins have no monetary value, finding any block at all should be "viable."

No one is going to lend you because of the high percentage you will scam.  Thanks for telling us you are new, it makes us even less agreeable to loaning you as for you probably aren't very smart in bitcoin mining.

As for the 3BTC you need to purchase the hardware, why don't we just purchase it ourselves?
