I am able to mine with my CPU using Minerd but have not figured out GPU mining yet. I have been trying to use GUIMiner and when I start GUIMiner I get the error:
Quote
No PyOpenCL
Not using OpenCL
Nothing to mine on, exiting
I have an ATI FireMV 2260 GPU and I tried installing OpenCL from the AMD website (link below) but it's still not working. Not even sure at this point if my GPU can handle OpenCL? Do I need to try again, try something else, or is this not possible with this card?

Complete newbie here if you couldn't tell and thank you in advance for any help.

I'm not sure about that GPU problem, nor are you able to mine with that one.
In any case, what I'm sure is that you will get no bitcoins from an weak and old card such as that.

Not supported for OpenCL:
Any R600 or earlier chip: 2xxx, 3xxx, 42xxM, IGP 3xxx, IGP 42xxM, FirePro 2250, FireStream 9170, any FireGL, any FireMV

That was a post from Diablominer, but I'm guessing it's the same across the board.

So the answer is no according to that not physically possible.
