Where and how would you invest 1m dollars? What coins will you buy? Or will Huh you just put them in Bank? Huh Wink
The bank will not bring you big profit. Investing in the crypto currency is risky, but profitable. If I had a million dollars, then I would invest in bitcoin, at least 500,000 dollars. Soon the price of bitcoin will again fly to the moon. Other 500,000 dollars I would invest in altcoins and ICO.

The best way is to store the half in the bank while the other half on crypto.

Just pick on the top 10 crypto based on coinmarketcap. Choose at a minimum of three (3) crypto. Before buying their coins/ token. make sure you already studied their product/services offered and futures plans. It is best to buy now  so you better make a decision fast because sooner or later the crypto will be on another ATH again. good luck

That's a lot of money. You surely don't wanna put the whole amount into crypto which is most risky move ever.

If you are making the investment which is affordable for you to loose then I think you should put this kind of money in setting up the mining rig. You can have mid level mining farm with this kind of money and left over money to pay for the maintenance.

Your ROI for the altcoins like ETH can be achieved within 10 months and for the bitcoin rig you can achieve that within 12-14 months with current network difficulty. That would real good move.

Don't fall for scam investment like new ICO are not recommended at all. You can buy ETH or BTC 50-50 straight as they are the only safest investment of you are eager to go for that.

the dumbest move someone can make with $1m dollars is to invest it in altcoin(s). because you will be taking a huge risk and limiting your potential.

with $1 million it is best to start something, a business, a service, or even some shitcoin would give you a lot more than when you invest it in an altcoin. not to mention that amount can not be invested in anything without pumping it 1000x

with a business (lets say an exchange) you can make a lot of money with a lot less risk.

No way in hell I'm putting 1 million in a bank. A million dollar doesn't have the same value it did in the past, so it would be useless to have it sit there in a bank that will give me very low interest rates.

I'd probably put like 250k into safe investments (btc, eth, ripple), around 350k into middle marketcap coins, and another 350k into risky ones (High profile ICOs, new coins), 50k to have in the bank (i have no debt)

Finally an answer that's not crypto/altcoin related.

As great as crypto coins are, $1m is too much money to spend on some altcoin that may or may not exist in some time.

It's worth considering to invest in btc, eth, for example but I really like your idea of just starting a business. You could have a lot of success with $1m capital.

With $1m I wouldn't be investing a lot in to crypto, maybe 100k-200k. I would invest about 60% in to real estate and the rest would be to live off and some savings for a little while. I think there are too many people in similar positions still all-in with crypto and for me it makes no sense. $1m is a life changing amount and to risk it seems absurd.

It's better to divide that big amount by several legit projects ( coins / tokens ) such as BTC, Eth, LTC...ect , it's more flexible to spread the investment .
A friend of mine told me about an American guy who did the same by using DCA ( dollar cost average ) strategy on weekly basis and he earned x20 times what he invested within one year  .
So it's always good to choose attentively in which coins to invest and combine it to the right strategy

I would probably be investing it to NEO alone or just with ETH. Diversifying your investment can be a good advantage so you would have the chance to win whichever is rocketing to moon. There is a sure chance of higher profit with NEO as its much cheaper than ETH, its just getting started so if you invest with it, you a bit early than those who would invest to NEO while the price is $500.

If I had 1 million dollars, I didn't invest everything in the crypt. 50% in the crypt (some coins from top-50), 50% in the real business.

I think I'll split the money into two parts.
Some are in the bank, after all, there is no big rise or fall.
The other part is divided into two parts, part investment BTC, part investment ICO. Grin

Where and how would you invest 1m dollars?
I'll diversify this, not fully investing in crypto only but a big portion for it. I'll put some in real estate, stock market, government bonds and insurance. I'll start also making my additional mining rig.
What coins will you buy? Or will Huh
Bitcoin, ETH, LTC, XMR, those coins that has good volumes.
you just put them in Bank? Huh Wink
I,myself will be my own bank. I don't want the bank to profit with that big money but I'll still use them for safe keeping but I won't put all of it there.

I will not put them on the bank of course hahaha. first the banks will sneak you and will ask you where you get that money
invest invest invest in altcoins they are surely worth the wait by holding haha. TRX DCN DIME are some of my coins stored and I will exchange them next year. I am sure they prices will rise and I thrust them haha
just split them in to many types of altcoins especially to those new ones which offers relaunching etc hehe. goodluck on your journey to the crypto world

If I have that kind of money I will buy 20-50 pcs of mining rig. Then will buy ETH and NEO so I can participate on the upcoming good ICOs. Then I would buy these coins for long term hold (trx, omg, lisk, icx, telcoin, lunyr and iota) and I will left 20% of my money to BTC.

I bought a couple of coins and spent a few money on several projects. and the rest - to the bank! it would be foolish to put everything in one! We must act globally. Smiley Wink
