What are your though on the new merit system here in bitcointalk?

I think that the merit system is a good way to regularize the number of users here in bitcoin talk and I think it is good for us. With that only those who truly give a meaningful idea will be recognize. How about you? what are your thought?

I agree that it's great for people who are here for a long time, and it's normal that they have advantages. But on the other side, I personally think that it's frustrating for new users (like me) because I've discovered Bitcoin lately, and I really like the concept but this system is pretty disappointing.

Exactly! I just realize that this might be the plan of action they have took to minimize the number of users in this forum who get used on posting effortless and unideal messages to a certain topic. This may also be the after effect of the numerous shitposers sitting their asses on Eco and Other discussion boards who received multiple Red Trust.

Moving forward, I think this topic should be posted on Meta not in here.
