I feel 2017 gains was a once in a lifetime opportunity and we won't see anything like it again. January 2017  Many of the top 100 coins with a considerably small investment could have made you a millionaire today, and congrats to those who are. $10000 in ETH at the time and you would never need to work again. I just can't see these gains happening again, but anything can happen |

Oh dam you, that’s really nostalgic stuff dude. !
Feels cracking my balls when I see that one and when I remind myself that I never inevsted a lot in that year. Look at those numbers, they are crazy low man.
But let’s not loosen out hopes, the thing is we can still choose few of the remaining coins that will pump this year end.
Yes, I’m pretty sure that ETH is going to make some good moves. So +1 to that one from my side.

What happened last 2017 stays there and 2018 will be a brighter year for cryptocurrecies.
we may see sea of red but it doesn't stay there, we can also see a field of healthy plants sometimes.
i do believe that January is not the time for crypto and we need to wait for the 2nd month of the year.

2018
618 billion x 34x = ~21 trillion
Can't happen the growth is too high, despite that though we can still have good gains this year.

We can't say that 2018 is a dam year for bitcoin, I know this year is still a good year for crypto but it happens only that bitcoin price is getting dumping to much which the community never expect it to happen. But, in the opposite sides Ethereum and some altcoins coins are keeping on positive sides which is good. |

I think we will see another rally in 2018 but I am not sure about the time and date for this! But I think nobody can predict this  You should watch out for some newcommers that have great ideas, watch out for some gems under the radar! |

Of course, crypto is relatively new and in my opinion we are early adopters. There are lots good projects which I honestly think can compete with bitcoin, for example stellar, ripple although i don't like it at all but it seems that people don't care much about the fact ripple is connected with banks, then we have smart contracts with dividend shares and so on, i believe 2017. will look like nothing compared to what I expect to see in next few years.

I just can't see these gains happening again, but anything can happen I have the same views regarding on the profits been given on those previous year on crypto which we can really able to say those things because most coins on top are already being pumped out which we can assume that multiplying the same on previous year will be nearly impossible but yet this kind of question wont really get precise answer because no man can able to predict on whats ahead. |

No one knows what will happen. Best to invest in some good coins and hope the returns are worthwhile by the end of the year.

Overall 2017 was indeed a breakout year. IMO, 2018 will see yet more investments into crypto, from regular folks as well as institutions and experienced investors. Regulations will offset some of that growth though. I think we will still see many coins making x10+ growth.
2017 was the year when cryptocurrencies announced to the world, "We're here!" 2018 is going to be the year when cryptocurrencies declare, "We're here to stay!".

it is early to say that the gains would not happen again. cryptocurrencies is just starting and still have a long way to go to reach its peak. just be positive and don't think useless thought. cryptocurrencies is unpredictable so anything will happen in anytime.

2017 was a phenomenal year for crypto in general. ANd 2016 wasn't too bad either.
Nice to see consistent, year-over-year growth.
Big money will notice too.

If you watch how coins change, you will notice that there are coins who are getting like 50% or even higher pumps. I mean it was obvious that 20k mark was pure pump with btc and when btc is going up alts are as well. People started to dump their coins and we are here now. However I do think that huge opportunity still exists because in December many new people came and started to do their research about bitcoin. I am seeing many new people getting into place and I feel we will.
Just if you are looking to become millionaire from small investment well you will have to be either patient or act aggressively with trading, I mean it is easier now to look back and say "what if I bought in 2010" but the thing is it takes courage to hold long enough without thinking to sell.
