To address some of the great questions:
1) Yes we are certainly open to bounty, if it makes sense, but we are truly self-funded and take pride in that. The ICO landscape is a bit murky from a legal perspective and so, at least for the time being, we have decided to stay away. We certainly reserve the right to change that in the future, but as we vet the multiple offers for Exchange Listings that are coming in now, it seems we will likely go straight to Exchanges. But anything can change between now and then (though that window is fast closing).
2) I would love to tell everyone a bit more about us: Our desire is to be a true grassroots company. It just feels a lot more "in the true spirit" of what cryptocurrency was meant to be. As you know from our mission, the heart of our company is to be a disruptive technology that makes life easier for millions of people worldwide. Recent studies show that for the first time in our planet's history more people live in dense urban areas that rural suburban areas. This is great for us, and our vision, as Gossamer will truly thrive in the urban setting. While we are certainly not discounting the potential for Gossamer's use in non-urban areas, we feel like that adoption lies down the road a bit.
3) Certainly not to discredit anyone trying to find new and useful ways to apply blockchain technology, but we have noticed that many blockchain projects tend to "not really need" to make use of decentralized technologies or smart contract protocols. Furthermore, many companies seem to be really trying hard to find a reason as to why their Token or Coin need actually exist. The way Gossamer will work will truly need to make use of some advanced smart contract technology, and will use the GOS token as the medium of value-store to be transfered and conveyed in exchange for wi-fi usage. Quite literally, you rent your wi-fi for GOS. Each individual will have the option of setting their own GOS price Per/MB (down to the fraction of MB).
4) We are quite fortunate with regard to our location. We are located in Boston, MA, with access to some of the world's smartest developers at MIT, Harvard, etc. We believe that this will be of paramount help as we continue along our journey and look to expand our network of contributors.
4) Lastly, we will try our very best to keep everyone as informed as possible on each step of our exciting journey and will always show special love to our most early adopters! Please help spread the word about Gossamer... it means the world to us here. We will only be as successful as the community who supports us, and we know that.
