《广西日报》1月30日报道，在今年的广西壮族自治区两会上，多达71名自治区政协委员联名建议：广西应抢先发力，加快引进和培育区块链产业，研发核心的区块链技术，掌握未来产业发展的先机。提案发起人、自治区政协委员、自治区科技厅党组副书记、副厅长刘建宏表示：“区块链技术是全球公认的具有重要影响力的网络应用发展方向，被认为是计算机应用的第五次颠覆式创新”。他一直密切关注区块链等技术发展并进行研究跟踪。他介绍，目前全国各地都在加速新一代信息技术产业布局，但尚无占据区块链技术绝对优势竞争地位的地区，广西不能错失发展良机。
