Mt.Gox balance seems wrong

Hey!
I did a small trade, sold BTC for 87.8 € and later bought back at 86.89 €, so this should leave me with a small profit even considering the 0.6% fee.
Nevertheless though I lost 0.02 BTC from this trade which doesn't really make sense to me.
Am I missing something?

Can you show the history maybe?

There is a difference between the buy price and sell price. So maybe you misunderstood the prices.
But it should appear in the history page

You sold approximately 6.70 btc, and you bought more than 6.73 + fees.

Hmm, could you please explain?
I'd simply calculate it like that:
1.)
6,70 BTC * 87.8 = 588.412 €

2.)
588,412 € / 86.8 = 6,772 BTC

3.)
6,772 BTC * (1 - 0.006) = 6.731 BTC

But contrary to that, my balance decreased to about 6.68 BTC.

Where's the mistake?

Just read the history:


In (3)
+ 1.0849

In (5)
+ 0.01

In (7)
+ 0.66

In (9)
+ 4.97629



1.0849 + 0.01 + 0.66 + 4.97629 = 6,73119. You got more than 6.73119 btc

Ok, maybe I did not take into account that the fees should be deducted from those 6.73 btc ...


But then, you would have spend 584 euros, not 588.
So maybe there is also a fee on the buy part (when you sold btc for euros).

Hmm, I come to the conclusion that the difference comes from the fact that there's a fee for both buying and selling, though the fee only shows up in the history for bought bitcoins and for the sold ones the 0.06% are quietly subtracted.
