Man, a lot of the games you people are talking about are shit I have never even heard of.

You should clearly spend more time gaming then.  Grin

However i gladly play all retrostuff; mame games, old console games and even C64 games.
They are all free and very different in concept compared to the new glossy stereotyped stuff.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I still have the ZSnes emulator installed here, with 4 or 5 games ready to go, and D-Fend Reloaded for the old dos games. Sadly, I end up never using them, because I really don't have free time these days...  Sad

Dark Souls 2 and UFC

Thumbs up for DS2. I already have 60 hours on it with one playthrough. Probably going to try another class (mage or cleric) and also play my main on higher difficulty. Well worth the money to buy it.

currently stuck on the second part of Iron Keep; the metallic turtle-like enemies are tough(can't block their strikes).  The bosses also seem way harder than DS1; I made it through DS1 on my own but had to summon help for many the bosses in DS2, including Ruin Sentinels.

I've been playing Arma 3 the last few days. It's a tad buggy (in beta I believe), but it's a great game to try.

Every time I read DS2 I still remember the old days of Dungeon Siege 2.
Loved and still love that game.

Playing LIMBO right now. How do I get past the spider thing that kicks you and spears you in the head?

Also tried Hearthstone on mobile, no idea why it's so popular. It's just a card game. Someone please enlighten me  Grin

League of Legends and its ilk are pretty well known, and several years old by now. As for fun, your mileage may vary: it can be fun and addictive no doubt, but on the other hand people can be "less than newbie friendly", and the game may tend to become a bit mechanic. That is, you're paired with this character, so you need to use this build, and serve this role. If you're up against these characters, you need to buy this and this and do this. It kind of got boring for me after a while.  Tongue

Well... I truly hate that game, its a casual version of DotA, by being so, you find a lot of childs in flame wars.
Also, I'm not a real fan of MOBAs, a repetitive game where the onyl thing that change is the combinaton of heroes and the ppl you play. A pure RTS like W3, SC2 and AoE:Mythology are far better to me.

So basically it can be a fun game, but the community is crap? lol.

I havent tried Dota either, since I play more mmorpg. But, i can tolerate trolls unless its really bad. Is leagues trolling far worse then anything you seen?

Personally, I'd say it's probably directly proportional to how many towers you walk into and die with... but that's probably just my experience with it. Grin

Anyone have good recommendation of strategy game?

Depends on what kind of strategy games you're into. If you like turn based space strategy games, I would recommend Space Empires V; old game, bad graphics by today's standards, but excellent amount of options, both for building your spaceships and dealing with other species.  Smiley

If you're looking for something of a smaller scale and more recent, maybe FTL will fit the bill.
