Guys is there going to be a fork?  I own this coin but I don't know what to do with it

I haven't heard of any forks for RACE. There is a fork coming up for Monero in a couple days though if anyone is interested. Since the price of RACE, ABS, ARGO, and several of my other altcoins that I have keep dropping, I sold most of them and bought some of the top coins like Monero, ETH, DASH, and of course BTC since they are beginning to increase in value again.

DISCORD ANNOUNCEMENTS

@everyone  Here is the current plan for the upcoming swap coin.
This is subject to change slightly, but this is what is ironed out.

Supply = ~90 Million (3x current),
MN collateral 3000,
Swap is 1 Race : 3 New Coin,
Block reward is 24,
Premine will be ~3.3 million to swap.
We will have a system set up to help avoid the original dev from swapping and the remaining premine will be burned.
The premine burn may not happen and may be used to pay for listings if current exchanges do not allow for a free update.
A budget, % of each block, will begin after a specified period of time to help fund future development.
There is no ETA yet, but we will update as we can.
Currently there are 4 members working on this.
We welcome anyone that is interested in helping.

So, I'm guessing since this is a swap that the new coin wont exist on the current blockchain? So we would be giving you a coin with a value that is listed on an exchange (that can be sold) for a coin that isn't on any exchanges? If so, what would stop you from getting all of our RACE coins and just selling them on an exchange leaving us with your new coin with no exchange? I think I will just sell my remaining RACE coins and buy your new coin if it takes off.

If you are not a trader. Because it's hard for you to concentrate on a lot of coins. And you just can skip the pamp and lose. It is better to track 3-5 projects. It's my opinion.

It looks like masternodes aren't even able to pay for the VPS fees anymore? I think everyone is beginning to realize this and are trying to sell before the price goes to nothing...the price is falling hard now.

Currently, passive monthly income of each Race masternode is not high enough to pay montly expense of VPS service, which usually cost around $5.

as the link shown, RACE has risen over 500% today, but its daily volume is only $4 in total.

I just received the signature company coins. Thank you. I am glad Smiley. Of course I will not sell as I'm sure that the price of a coin will grow many times.

Wholy shit show! Which signature company coin did you receive?
The project has almost abandoned and likely a dead one. Furthermore, the signature campaign of RACE ended several weeks (more than one month) ago. Please stop kidding and spamming, dude.

Just a warning to everyone still holding...looks like the original devs just moved 125k coins to exchange wallets. I am guessing that is where they are since the dates of the first transactions on those wallets are just after RACE was added to southXchange and around the same time it was added to crypto-bridge. Also, the coins are systematically removed from the wallets shortly after arriving just like exchanges do. If they dump 125k coins, the value of RACE will drop significantly. They still hold many more coins as well, so hopefully they don't dump everything. We would be at like 1 satoshi by the time they dumped everything if they do. Here are the transactions, hopefully I am wrong as this would kill the value and MN's will be worthless at that point.

Premine:2,4%
as the OP shown, 2.4% of the coins premined.
However, it is a little bit strange because when I search for the genesis block with the following link:
http://explorer.racecurrency.com/block/0000025a82ddff8f3df5368230851f73fa3ffd1ca3a1e8b7c843f3ab0f41fd9e
No coin in the genesis block.
What happened with this block?
Anyway, thanks for your interesting findings, despite of these two links you shared didn't not show any evidence which can claim those coins belong to premined, fella.

Look at the originating wallets and you can follow them all the way back to the genesis block on Feb 1st...the day of launch.

Look at the originating wallet, they were both mined in one single block on Feb 1st...the day of launch. The premine was several 75k coin blocks, not the genesis block.
Thanks for your quick response, but it's extremely strange, my friend!
Premined coins will (mostly, for what I have seen so far) be premined in the genesis block. I don't want to fall into arguments with you, but honestly it is strange if premined didn't not made in the genesis block.

I understand what you're saying, but think about it like this. How could they mine 150k coins in the first day of launch when there are only 8 coins created with each block? After some digging, you were correct about the genesis block though. Here is the link where they transferred the coins out of the genesis block: http://explorer.racecurrency.com/address/RCijsTwoFjRKx6ryPKLb844a3EhWSppX96

You can follow the links I posted and just keep clicking on the originating wallet for each transaction and it will lead all the way back to the genesis block. These are definitely pre-mine coins. About 70k coins worth of buy orders just got cancelled on southXchange too.

The most recent devs that said they were taking over were actually offering a coin swap. The bad thing is that they want RACE that can be sold on an exchange, and are giving you another new coin with no exchanges. There is nothing to keep them from creating a clone coin real quick and just selling everyone's RACE when you give them your coins for the swap, and then walking away as a quick exit scam. They don't even have to invest in an exchange to sell the coins.

Now I am not saying that is what they are doing, I am just pointing out the risks of a coin swap like this.
