I think most people on this forum would agree (tell me of you don’t) that existing social media channels have for the most part turned out bad for users (or at least not as we’d hoped!). A loss of personal data, advertisers able to buy it ‘behind your back’ and then to bombard you with noise that you never asked for – and value creators receiving little reward for their time spent creating content etc.

Really it comes down now to challenging ourselves to re-imagine social media – to factor in the power of blockchain, and a decentralized mode. But what should we be demanding – and what can we expect?
