Samsung, the largest company in South Korea which is accountable for a large portion of the country’s economy, has started the production phase of bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining equipment and ASIC mining chips.
Local media outlets reported that Samsung partnered with a Chinese bitcoin mining equipment manufacturer last year and finished the development of its ASIC chips. Samsung, which operates one of the largest semi-conductor manufacturing plants in the world, will manufacture and supply cryptocurrency mining equipment to the Chinese market first.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Fantastic so lets hope they are fast but expensive so all the miners playing CPU-Wars can buy them
up ready for the next round of CPU-Wars

Double agent: S-M will send Samsung a few coins and I will get a cheap 1080 GPU to play
CoD with not that I play games

Mining is CPU-wars and Intel, AMD like it nearly as much as big oil likes miners wasting electricity. Is this what mankind has come too.

The technologies company giant already have attention toward Bitcoin. I'm sure its a positive signal for Bitcoin ecosystem. I believe once many company already got the attention of Bitcoin, Bitcoin even cryptocurrencies will have a better adoption in the mainstreams.

This is a gold rush for the chip makers. I wouldn't be surprised if they all rushed into this sector.

The more countries that legalise cryptocurrency the more firms will enter this space either creating ASICs, the chips or setting up direct mining operations.

So far i know about Samsung, their price is so expensive i think it only because their brand.
And people search for mining tool because its specification to handle with the diff right now.

Meanwhile if Samsung only use their brand and not prioritize specification and durability of the ASIC, they will lose in this market
