As the title says....
But as a further question, how secure are wallets? the ID you give to people/things for transactions gives them no further information, its the 'private keys' or something they need isn't it?

No, they don't need your private keys. Keep in mind that most faucets send you dust which costs higher in transaction fees to spend it.

You only give the public address to those website. So basically, all they can do is: sending you btc. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) You never give the private key to any faucet website. But the faucets are quite useless, because you win almost nothing (1 cent per week...).

And they what? What will he do with that information? Lol Identify you. To OP: think of the address as a "username" and the private key as a "password". When people send money to your address, they're just sending it to your "username" or "account". They don't have your private key (password), so they will never be able to steal your money unless you give them the private key.

Which faucet websites are most legitimate? Even if they won't give a lot of bitcoin, would be nice to see a little bit to play with.

Actually worst case scenario would be some malware infection through an browser exploit.

Actually, faucets using coinbox.me pay more, but note that both coinbox.me and the other sites are hosted on the same server. I got agout 10000 satoshis in some days, before I got bored xD

Use the faucet rotator. It's kept pruned pretty well and it will keep up with all the timers for you automatically.
