Bitcore BTX - Contest #1: Banner Set (up to 80 BTX in total) - PRIZES DOUBLED!

This is our first public contest for our creative Bitcore community!
If you are new to Bitcore, please check our ANN thread and have a look at our website.

Rules for your submission


Format: The banner needs to be an animated .gif in the following resolutions:

- main: 728x90p

- side: 160x600p

- mobile 1: 320x100p

- mobile 2: 300x250p

You must submit at least the main and one mobile banner. If you submit all four banners you will receive 100% of the bounty price, for 3 banners you receive 90% and for 2 banners you receive 80% (if you win).


Content: The banners should focus on our core strengths: the hybrid fork distribution to BTC holders, our weekly airdrops, huge transaction capacity, low fees, fast blocktimes, small blockchain etc. etc. Use your own words and creativity.
It should appeal to people visiting sites such as cmc.com and other large crypto related sites. Make it flashy but still serious. - Be creative!
The banners should have a similar style, so they can be used on the same website.

Deadline: We accept submissions via email ( info AT bitcore.cc ) until 7th of February. You can link to an imgur album or directly link to all gifs in the email.

Your banner submissions must be open source for everyone to redistribute and share. It is very important that your submission does not have any copyright infringements!

Everyone is allowed up to two entries but remember: quality over quantity!

Please try to stick to our CI guide (included in the presskits).

4th & 5th prize: 2.5 BTX

Important: We do expect some basic level of professionality for the banners. If we feel this standard is not met by a submission, we reserve the right to exclude it from the contest.

When the deadline for submissions (7th of February 2018) has passed we will make a community vote to determine the winners.

HOWEVER: We will add another week for the contest due to a low number of entries and as a very fair compensation double the prize amount!
So maybe you find the time to also submit a mobile banner.

Do any of the websites or platforms have a maximum filesize limitation for how big these banners can be? I can make a 3/4-frame animation, or I can make a 60+ frame animation, but most platforms have a limitation. If so, can you please let us know what that is? Thanks!

Ideally try to stay below 1 MB per banner, with some clever compression a lot of frames and different images are possible for these small banner sizes.

This competition was a great introduction for me into this forum! (Im long time lurker) I submitted 3 banners the other day and I'll try to submit my fourth one today if I have time. I put a lot of work into the banners I hope you enjoy them. Great competition idea and good luck guys.

BTCforJoe I kept my file size under 150kb just to be safe but you can add a lot of frames if you compress the colors and quality a little.

Ok I finished my 4 banners. I sent you the gifs from 2 email accounts because sometimes the email client I usually use can send my emails to the junk folder, and I'd hate for them to go unseen

Hi, I just managed to submit my entry in time for your competition (well I hope lol)...

I tried to keep the same theme for each entry as I wasn't sure if you wanted a matching set or not but I hope you like them.
I forgot to include my bitcointalk username in the email does that matter?
