Good afternoon folks.  So I was looking over solo mining these two coins, setup the clients (pretty disappointed that I could not get Inf setup in Linux!) and started solo mining last night.  I've averaging about 6000 hashes per sec but not seeing anything on the main page - balance or unconfirmed.  How long by solo mining will I see something?  Thanks and sorry - newbie altcoin member here Smiley ..

6000 hashes? 6k? I'm not sure if you'd ever find a block... what are you mining on? WDC is at 1.36 Difficulty and IFC is at 5.5 difficulty.

At 1.36 difficulty and 6k hps, you'll have a 71% chance of finding a block in 14 days. Expected time: 11 days 06 hours
At 5.5 difficulty and 6k hps, you'll have a 26% chance of finding a block in 14 days. Expected time: 45 days 13 hours

Thanks for the speedy reply.  The WDC is on one of my virtual servers (6core / 16gb ram) and the IFC is on my gaming box (6core / 16gb) .. if this helps... All I did really was follow the instructions unless i'm missing something in the setup.  Thanks..

CPU mining Scrypt coins won't get you much. GPU'ing mining is optimal. There are many CPU-specific coins to mine out there, though.

Mine a CPU coin. Either YAC or XPM would be my suggestion.

For XPM, you can solo mine with this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255782.0

Thanks much for all the replies... I'll start looking up CPU coins to mine and the suggested ones mentioned.  If you can think of any more, please list.  Thanks!
