I Dont know about them, but i only know algorithm for GPU mining is Equihash,Ethash,Cryptonight,Neoscrypt,Time Travel,and i forget others.
Maybe different on coding, i dont know

The difference has in the creator of the algorithm itself, the algorithm can be used for which hardware like can CPU, GPU.

at the variable measure hash rate like Cryptonight algo using by H/s (hash per second), Ethash Algorithm using  MH/s (Megahashes per second).

and which coin can be mined by the algorithm itself like Scrypt algorithm using (DOGE, LTC coins etc), the Cryptonight algorithm (XMR, BCN etc), Ethash Algorithm (ETH, ETC coins).
