I sold the A3 on January 18th on eBay and shipped it to the buyer the next day after receiving the miner and proving that it worked flawlessly. The buyer on eBay is now getting the status "Socket Connect Failed: Connection Refused" on their "Hardware Version" and they're using this to mark the item as being defective. Most of my research online has told me that this has more to deal with the miner's pool being configured incorrectly. Is there anything I can ask from the buyer to screenshot to prove the device is faulty, or to indeed confirm that it's just a networking issue that doesn't indicate the faultiness of the device?
At the end of the day I just want what's best for both parties and if the item is indeed defective then I'll take it back. I just need to make sure this isn't just buyer's remorse, as that isn't covered under eBay's return policy. Any information you're able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
