article said, fb will ban ads related to ICO, bitcoin, crypto currency. they do not say will ban post or group, usually bounty hunters just post and share ICO account post, likes, comments. hopefully they do not change their mind to ban post and share related ICO and bitcoin

Bitconnect is one of the reasons why nowadays people are careful with their investments. Some even borrowed money just to invest on it because they saw in facebook that others did it so thinking of short term huge profits, they decided to borrow only to be swimming in debt later on. More people are scammed because of HYIPs using bitcoin spreading in facebook so it is a good thing they decided to ban it. It is only the advertisements that they are removing anyway not the pages of the ICOs but there are groups who decided to change their group names so that if ever facebook decided to totally ban cryptocurrency then they would be safe given that no one would report them.
Since Facebook is too popular that it easily attracts investors, and now that even those know organizations use crypto investing, the only sad part is even they gained popularity some still thinks of scamming people, this what advertising too much in social media were restricted. But I still can see crypto adds on FB.

I think facebook didnt really banned cryptocurrency and ico.. Facebook just become more strict to all the links that was posted.. Links should be ramdomly posted at a time to avoid facebook to delete post and consider it as a spam... I can still post links and bounties without getting deleted...and avoid posting same links to groups facebook may delete it.. Based from ly experience...
That is also what i'm thinking based as we axperienced in facebook nowadays that they quickly banned all suspicious posts counted as spam in their system.Sometimes , they miss-lead the posts which they removed, their system detected it as spam, so all you need to do is to message them and they will going to put it back.

for me it is okay for Facebook to ban all this ads, this ads only gives a bad impression of cryptocurrency because most of this cryptos are only scams that people generalize cryptocurrencies as scam which is bad for its image.

Because a lot of the ICO project is fraud, so facebook complaints by many users for certain, so they banned ICO advertising is also a normal phenomenon, but now I can still see the ICO ads on facebook, hhhhh.

I think this is only for a short time because Facebook can not ban all ICO projects. If banned from the ICO, facebook is likely to lose a lot of good profit and difficult to attract new users in the future. I hope Facebook only bans ICO projects that have scams and should promote the ICO project with good potential

To prevent people from falling for ICOS fraud, Facebook does it to protect its users and its platform

I think that the step of banning initial coin offerings is of the same reason that they are banning bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies because after their political scandal they can take a very little risk to tolerate any ad that has to potential to have an adverse effect on their worth or credibility. Many ICOs are frauds and so this is a threat.

This step Facebook has taken may not have such a bad effect as people are thinking. If you look at the demographics that invests in initial coin offerings it is between those people who have stable jobs or are wealthy enough and who have an investment history, such people do not come on social media sites unless required so no harm may be done.

If the population will stay unaware of the advances and the new cryptocurrencies in the market, a lesser chance of investment is probable. Once that happens the incentive to create more cryptocurrencies eliminates and that may trigger the start of the decline of the cryptocurrency market.

Although the information has been spread for a long time, there are many ICO projects that are implementing advertising on facebook. I think this is just FUD, it makes the price of the altcoins drop sharply and make the traders worry. Because of that rumor that my friends had to lose more than 20k $ per person. The influence of facebook is terrible.

By the time the ban is fully implemented, it means that there will be limitation to the areas where adverts will be make, most especially for ICOs. Presently, i am still using Facebook for bounty campaign and i am still waiting for it to be fully integrated. What is of concern to me is that, this news caused some panics to some people and they went to dump fast, yet the banning is yet to be fully done.
