This is of course very good news, but I think that all the news was a complete manipulation, so they just sold the price, in order to go into beatcoin itself, it seems to me that's exactly what it was.

I hope this will finally return the positive in the market and the red color will change to green. I am very glad that the Koreans were able to defend their rights.

Thanks for this great news, the red graphs in the market would ready to be green again.
This would pump all the coins and tokens in the market. This might be the right time to stack coins again  Cheesy

Here is also, something I saw on the newsfeed in which we could be very well thankful, for with the news that Korea is no longer banning cryptocurrency in their country expect some of the companies and firms in there accepting bitcoin or other alternative coins as mode of payment in which we could hope that this could very well lead to the price of bitcoin.

However, facebook has banned advertising for ICO, which is the bad news today.

yes great news indeed, although South Korea stated earlier in January
that they were not going to ban crypto trading outright. AFAIK they
were looking at tightening up trading without verifications
but that news was manipulated.

I still think that they are kind of violating your privacy, but I also understand their concerns. A proof of that is those nearly $600 million illegal funds that were being traded on exchanges. Of course that is not a huge number compared to actual volume in exchanges, but minimizing all illicit funds are important to me. The markets are still red, maybe it's because of the tether problems now, or maybe they are still waiting for mass adoption now, so I guess we will have to get use to these new prices for now.

This makes me worry lately, I have been doing bounties weeks months ago and paid decently with their coins. But now Facebook is deleting most of my shares regarding ICO that I have been promoting. Hopefully things will be back to normal as it were used to be. The more I am worried about is that Twitter will also follow their steps and it will be the end for me and most of the bounty hunters out there who uses their FB and Tweeter accounts.

The first thing I saw and read the news about it, I was shocked as many of the crypto enthusiast are from Korea and Japan. later on I finally realize and think back when china did that so I have told myself that history is just repeating and the good thing is it even made cryptocommunity more known to the world and made a huge impact on BTC's rise. So I guess there won't be much damage on news like that anymore.

They shouldn't ban Cryptocurrency because their citizens and economy has greater impact of blockchain.
Korea is one of the countries that Cryptocurrency is getting stronger and their people earned a lot of money through Cryptocurrency and their economy rises.

I think they did that for a couple of reasons. 1) They are trying to get into blockchain, and I think we've all heard rumors about integration with Ltc. Who knows if that will ever happen? and 2) they probably banned it for all of the scams that are/will happen.

So who knows what they were thinking, those are just my assumptions.

Good news. It is time for a green table for the cryptoworld. Looking forward to see it.

More Korean investors are going to invest more into Cryptocurrency such as businessmen workers and even young students are getting involved in the Cryptocurrency investments.
While China is banning Cryptocurrency exchange, Korea is opposite, and due to this, they offer their people a wide range of opportunities like earning money through Cryptocurrency.

I thought that some more bad news will be published now so that the market fell even lower and whales could buy cheap coins.
Let's see maybe this news will bring the market out of the depression. Thanks for the news Wink

I don't think they would on the outset. Like I said before, it would be a bad move to actually ban activities relating to cryptocurrency because it is a market that could get them big money. Being that South Korea is a country that is very technological, I am sure that many people there are already delved into venturing in the cryptocurrency, if not, pioneering on their own coins to be in play in the market. As South Korea is one of the growing economies that is heavily inclined in technology, it would be a step back not to support the crypto market.

South Korea has no bad news about crypto-currencies. They are only implementing real-name accounts.
However, facebook has banned advertising for ICO, which is the bad news today.

I don't know about that. Maybe it's not implemented everywhere, but just a couple of hours ago I saw a huge ICO ad on my FB Messenger.

The price should go up because of this news!

I mean they never said they were going to ban it in the first place. I think it was because of the millions of FUD articles.

I'm not sure if the prices will rise again but will see.

That was good news that south korea was also adapting or accepting bitcoin in their country so it means we assure that have a additional investor here in bitcoin. We know that soon or soonest every country who banned bitcoin was one by one legalizing bitcoinecause of the influences of the other country that bitcoin have a big help to the people of their country so that south korea accept bitcoin in their country.

This is a very good news to all the cryptocurrency universe, might caused the market to recover fast and to get back on track with this news.I hope south korea would allow their citizens to trade and mine freely with some small tax, that will change everything legalization and fully supported by the government.China on the other hand wont allot its citizens to get involved with cryptocurrencies because they are a communist country.

Good news... Korea is a big market for cypto world.

There are more than 2 million traders and bitcoin is the third biggest currency nowadays in Korea after USD and YEN.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/elaineramirez/2017/12/19/5-times-cryptocurrencies-rocked-south-korea-in-2017/#41fdce4f591e

Most of the telegram groups have also Korean channels which are used frequently and which proofs that the interest for ICOs is really high by Korean friends.

There are also nice projects with Korea origin. As far as remember ICON is created by Koreans which is a really promising project.

news from south korea is a positive thing for bitcoin, altcoin and other virtual currencies, as a form of support as well as opposition to countries that ban bitcoin in general, it can strengthen and motivate bitcoin users to be unaffected and not worried on the spread of negative news, it shows that the virtue currency can really be a reference for the world community in general and investors for the convenience, convenience and security of transactions. forward cryptocurrency

Yes that's good news because banning bitcoin in different country have big impact in price,i think it can happen now because crypto is not good for their economy like in some country but if they know already what can brings to them i'm sure they will acknowledge digital currency but now always think how to get attention of different country so the price of digital currency go really high in the future and it's good to all users of it.

Personally i felt it was just a fud then they never intend banning it but to regulate it for safety of Koreans and sincerely many ico are without any concrete plan to develop the token after initial coin offering no further development.

I thought that some more bad news will be published now so that the market fell even lower and whales could buy cheap coins.
Let's see maybe this news will bring the market out of the depression. Thanks for the news Wink
After all the time FUD's has been spread, finally, we hear a good news from a government agency. Other than Lightning Network, I'm sure there still a lot of negativity in the Bitcoin, we know that in the Tradingview the sell signal is strong, and I believe it will force the market more downward, but because we hear a good news, I hope the market will be turned upside.

As far as I know about the uncertainty news of crypto in south korea is fake, but the fact south korea tried to develop a new system to give taxation to the crypto exchange site or even traders.
This time they are trying to consider about that. I've seen a lot of people discussed that.
But people were so easy to be panic.

Good to know that they will continue recognizing this currency instead of avoiding their people, we knew that a lots of supporters are also residing from s.korea and knowing that they are now back in the market would definitely make an impact, let see how the market will move after this news and after the people from this country will react and begin to invest more.

Government will never do that, in my opinion they just make a simple fake news to control cryptos in their hand, and they succeed because every participant in their place should register their name on which they can pay tax to the government.

Actually it can affect the cryptomarket and the altcoins will start moving up. We are all sick and tired and watching their fall. My friend told me the other day he is depressed through the events of January. Hope for good anyhow.

they would not ban cryptocurrencies they just want to prevent illegal activities and to put tax on some local exchange sites. cryptocurrencies can help the economic of their country and many of their people support it. their people would be disappointed if they ban crypto.

Not a good source of news,we need some official announcement from korea,so we can verify if this is just another FUD to pump bitcoin's price because most of the whales can easily manipulate the news, they just need to pay some shitty news site to post some FUD so most of the people will jump in to a running train.

As for me,  this is the way like big whales manipulate crypto prices.  Firstly they create negative background and dump prices and after accumulation of position,  just a good news comes out and prices are going back to previous level

There's no possibility if this news could be a fake news. It's true. I've seem some people have posted about reliable news related to the crypto ban rumour in south korea. as far as i know about the fact that south korean already released a statement regarding south korea is not banning crypto, But the south korea is trying to make regulation for that.

South korea still develop new system to be implemented in the crypto traders.

Although South Korea does not ban encrypted currency.
But India is already planning to ban bitcoin, and too many countries have recently tried to regulate bitcoin and cryptocurrency, causing the market to fall and everyone is panicking.

I already expect this to happen since South Korea is not a communist country, they are more open in cryptocurrency and i believe they know that blockchain technolgy  can lessen or eliminate corruption for good.

Yes, this is really very good news, if Korea does not block bitcoins and crypto-currencies in general, then probably the market will grow and people will not just pour their bitcoins for such a cheap amount. It is a pity to observe such a drop in the market.

Since the beginning i thought the South Korean government has no plan of banning bitcoin. They just want to regulate the exchanges and no more anonymous transaction. They are planning to tax the cryptocurrency.

I guess this is the best news for bitcoin this 2018 if this really going happen then the bitcoin value will rise again by a huge amount. It will give bicoin another chance to have a good comeback, some people always believe that bitcoin will reach a high amount of value compared before and I think it will going to happen, it is time to put more investment at bitcoin because I have a feeling that it will going to be huge.

All the loud statements of official representatives of different countries have a very strong influence on the market. Unfortunately, the system itself is not stable enough to not fall by 30% from every sneezing of politicians. It's more like the manipulation of the market. On that day no crypto currency on the stock exchanges did not prohibit. But panic forced people to sell their assets.

Cryptocurrency are being acknowledge on the South Korea as the their government plans to make a tax regulations, there is a good side and bad side on this news. Good news is that the government are aware and wants to hug the new technology and the bad news is that anyone who gain profit from cryptocurrency should pay their taxes.

I've also seen this news in NTOK's facebook page. although, it's sad that news is spreading about facebooks plans on banning bitcoin ads and campaigns. But, this good news from Korea is definitely a great one that we hope would also happen to our own country.

I thought that some more bad news will be published now so that the market fell even lower and whales could buy cheap coins.
Let's see maybe this news will bring the market out of the depression. Thanks for the news Wink
this is really good news because it's likely that all coin prices will rise again, you should immediately buy and invest before it's too late.
hopefully the red chart will turn green, so we will all be more calm.

This will definitely a great for all coins.  I thought all news on cryptos are bad. Thanks for this great information. Korea has also many potential investors.
This will finally solve the red bloody markets in all coins, I think.

Unfortunately the main trend is still falling. When there will be a change of trend or at least a good rebound is difficult to guess.

But they will apply some sanctions ... However, now that the value has fallen, how will investors in South Korea recover all that they have lost? Somehow they will be the first to limit themselves to the idea of investing in btc

According to Reuters, South Korea’s finance minister has stated that the government has no plans to shut down cryptocurrency exchanges or ban cryptocurrency trading.
This is good news, as some earlier news about South Korean bans was one of the events that caused the current crypto correction.
I think this is a good news because some panic dudes will be active again in investment. However, some people are not happy because it is an avenue to buy cheap coins.

That's why we need to do more research before we made decisions, I heard that the recent drops were due to another banning from India which later on found that they just want to warn their people about being extra careful on joining cryptos, I doubt when will people especially panic holders learn.

great news , it only means that many countries are looking forward to the used of bitcoin in their community , they are saying that they are not banning it, the quote by the government that they will ban bitcoin is just for improvement and sees the potential of bitcoin,

South Korea never intended to ban crypto.
All news were fake and even South Korea said it was FUD.
They want to regulate crypto-exchanges and that is something different from ban. Market manipulators use fake news to cause price to drop so they can buy cheap altcoins. After people realize news were fake, they will stop selling and start buying and when time is right manipulators will sell their coins, make profit and start again with FUD. Oldest story.

In my opinion, korean actually never wants to banned crypto currency, it's just that, they tighten and supervise crypto, they also apply the rules about crypto. They just want to control the circulation of crypto currency

As expected, they will not ban it like China. They just want to regulate it to avoid using it in illegal activities. It will create pressure in the leadership if they ban it because many South Korean citizen are already in the train of cryptocurrency and it is hard to change it specially if many legit business is already in it.

In fact, Korea was not going to ban the circulation of the crypt currency. All governments of different countries agree with one opinion. They do not want to allow the circulation of the crypt currency in real life when buying real goods. Because they are afraid to get an alternative to the national currency, which can lead to inflation in the country. And secondly, if the price of the crypto currency falls sharply, the sellers of goods may remain bankrupt. They can not wait long for the hight cost of coins. They have to pay checks every day.

they would not ban cryptocurrencies they just want to prevent illegal activities and to put tax on some local exchange sites. cryptocurrencies can help the economic of their country and many of their people support it. their people would be disappointed if they ban crypto.

They had to explain it to everybody clearly, and they made some vague statements. Thus everybody thought cryptos would be banned. The same happened recently in India. Now Indian authorities say they meant ban of criminal activities connected with virtual currency.

Banning is completely different from regulation an prevention.  When news of Korean authorities getting concerned with crypto activities circulated in the net,  the price of bitcoin go down and it clearly  shows how many people thought that there will be a country banning bitcoin again.  This proves how people can be so easy to manipulate and I think that because bitcoin value cannot be controlled  they are  trying  to control the decisions of the people.  It certainly works and affected the market price in any way.

SK's main concerns regarding crypto would fall into the following 1)  Gov't getting a cut and 2)  NK.  Ban would most likely be on the table if gov't doesn't get their cut.

I don't think they were ever news for ban crypto in Korea.

They were some announcement that the issue of regulating will be considered and have talks about it.

Well this become fake news and was everywhere just to create panic. Regulating was changed with ban and so on...

Korea is such a massive market, it was never going to be banned out right. Having said that Im pretty sure that they will attempt to regulate it - the writing is on the wall. Good thing / Bad thing... depends on your point of view but individual countries taking a regulated stance is going to effect the market one way or another.
