Bitfinex And Tether Received Legal Process From US Regulators; Bitcoin Dropped

One of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Bitfinex, and Tether, a digital currency with a market cap of more than $ 2 billion, is reseaching by US regulators. Last week, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) sent out the legal process to Bitfinex and Tether.

I remember reading somewhere, maybe even here, on bitcointalk, about some dude who tried to withdraw around 1M dollars from his Tether wallet a couple months ago, and he was refused on the pretext that Tether was busy withdrawing funds for large corporate clients. He promised to sue them and it seems these weren't just empty threats. I sincerely hope that people who have their money at Bitfinex will think twice about how reliable this exchange actually is.
