I'm seeing a lot of the Elephantcoin morons in here -- starting to wonder if they aren't primarily the same person. Can a mod check their IP addresses?

Perhaps someone can explain how MAX_MONEY, set to 500,000,000 coins, will limit the amount of coins to 500 million on a PoS coin.

Any manual about on how to do PoS with SAV? Or is it the exact same as for PPC? The web site www.savingcoin.net doesn't work for me.

I'm telling you guys...any time you see 3 or more of monocolor*, flyingcat, number37, mintedstone, and/or sam53 posting in a thread for a new coin, run for the hills. All 5 of them are posting here.
My assumption is they are receiving kickbacks for promoting (poorly) scamcoins and tirelessly bumping the thread with pointless posts. However, it's possible they're just really bad at deciding which coins to mine (and/or extremely unlucky.) They could also potentially be the same person. Some examples of their posts:
"Interesting coin!" "Promising coin!" "I like this coin!" "This is great!" "+1"
The ultimate goal is to get it on a major exchange so they can all dump. If you notice, they never support coins that last. They constantly post in the exchange threads pushing their crapcoins...but they're often uniquely disguised by adding 1 legitimate coin in their requests. They also all love ELP and VLC. They also defend premines non-stop (and, at the same time, harshly call out premines in threads of coins they don't support.) Here are some examples:
monocolor (on VLC): "Yes I agree, premine is bad for sure. But all I am saying is that it will be reflected in the price, there's no point to over-exaggerate it, let the market determine its value, traders are not stupid, they know what's the price should be assigned to each coin. There's no point to say that because one coin has premine, so it can not be listed in certain exchange. And the fact is, many premined coins are listed, and there's no problem of it."
mintedstone (on VLC): "Yes this one had a little premine, so what? people will decide what it worth, with all the facts there, why cryptsy need to care about it? just provide a platform, and let market decide what it worth!" :: "add CDC, SAV, NET, ELP, VLC"
number37: "add VLC, ELP & Savingcoin please"
sam53: "why ELP so low on the list? It has only 0.4% premine, and it is below many coins with 1.0+% premines." (Keeping in mind there were well over 1,000,000 ELP premined): Posted in CPUCoin thread: "1 mil + coin premined, what a garbage, forget it."
flyingcat: "add ELP and SAV" - Posting in ELP thread: "Keeping saying and re-saying premine in this coin does not help your cause, and I agree with many that this coin by no mean the bad in the premine world. I am mining it as well, I don't care who said what on it."
I'm shaking from some of this grammar (some of their posts are classic but I just grabbed a few random ones)...but just wanted to get this out there. You have all been warned -- they are working toward giving the premine value.
*monocolor, whether in on the scam or not, is at least a different person. You can tell because he can actually string together sentences. Regardless, he's always popping up in the wrong corner when the other 4 idiots start supporting a coin. Perhaps he is the ringleader?

Any manual about on how to do PoS with SAV? Or is it the exact same as for PPC? If you hold the coins for certain time, and then start the qt client, the built-in miner should mine the PoS blocks based the accumulated coin-day, for those coins held above a certain threshold. The blocks will be created with certain credits ("interest"), add to the current blocks, and propagate through the network. After maturity, the "interest" will be added to your total.
