I got few of GTX1080 Founders edition ordered but it says from Nvidia not ASUS, EVGA or Gigabyte. Does that mean Nvidia also make their own graphics?
because one of them arrived damaged and ebay will not allow it to return (fuck ebay), I am looking for a way to see if it can be RMA-d.

The title of product says:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition 8GB GDDR5X PCI Express Graphics Card

GOing to nvidia RMA page, it asks for a authorized re-seller which I have no idea what to select.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/support_aic.html

Thanks.,

Nvidia does make Founders Edition cards. That said, you wont be able to RMA a card that you bought off of eBay that got damaged during shipping....

Its not Nvidia's fault your card is damaged, you'd be denied even if you were the original owner with receipt in hand.

All "Founder Edition" cards are manufactured by Nvidia.
That's the ONLY cards they make for consumers.

Try here or contact nvidia customer care

http:   //www.onlineregister.com/nvidia/register/gtx/
http: /www.nvidia.com/object/manufacturer_warranty.html

Not sure whether they may ask where you got it to go rma. Because of this  "
this warranty will not extend to any person that acquires a Warranted Product on a used basis"
But it won't hurt to try

Thanks.,

You have the chip/GPU manufacturer, and the card manufacturer. In your case, Nvidia is the manufacturer in both cases.
When dealing with RMAs, you generally either go to the retailer (which unfortunately didn't work for you), or to the card manufacturer, if you are eligible for warranty services. Unfortunately, if you bought through eBay from a third-party seller, you might be out of luck.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/manufacturer_warranty.html
According to this, you need to contact their Customer Care Team for support regarding Nvidia-branded products.

"Founder's Edition" is really just a new name for "reference-style," but specific to Nvidia's more recent lineups. Card manufacturers such as Asus and PNY may adopt the Founder's Edition style, as it is typical to adopt the reference-style cards before they release models with custom
(esp. non-blower) coolers.

I see founder edition by asus and others. False.

Still MADE by Nvidia, then third party slaps their name on it - or Nvidia makes it with the third part name on it as part of a contract.

Like EVGA or Corsair power supplies - they don't make ANY of them, but it has their name on them.
