Has anyone been a victim of scamming through HitBTC.

Just looking at their Twitter feed recently and you can see a lot of people have been scammed...

https://twitter.com/hitbtc

I personally sent 0.08 BTC from Hit to my Bittrex account. It has so far failed to turn up and it is not showing as a transaction on my Hit account. I am beginning to fear the worst....

They experienced a heavy DDOS earlier that results for more fear on those who have some active funds on HitBTC. Now as of posting, site is now on operation.

But even prior to that, HitBTC is already on hot seat for those lost*, missed* funds and unreflected deposits even it was already confirmed on the network. Their support, as always in every crypto trading platforms, is now tagged as one of the worst.

Since you have an on-going problem with them then no choice but to wait for customer support's response if you already send one. Their unprofessional way in dealing to their clients must be spreaded out more to the public.

Well said Harizen - they are taking a pummelling on Twitter.

I fear my BTC are gone. Immediately after the withdrawal I received an email from HitBTC support asking to click on the confirmation link to authorise the withdrawal. When I go back to this email from support@hitbtc.com I cannot access it as 'the linked image cannot be displayed' .. which stinks of scam to me. What do you think?

I had a smooth transaction in HitBTC, before (late December as I remember). However, these past few weeks more and more issues are popping out on all exchanges (probably not only them). Both HitBTC and Bittrex are having several problems.

May I know what email provider are you using? Also, could you provide a screenshot of that 'the linked image cannot be displayed'?

At System-health page at this moment there are 208 BTC transaction waiting for being processed and 5 without hash.

Now, I was checking a few thing and the server show performance issues.

When I withdraw less than 0.5btc on hitbtc, it takes 2-10 days
When more, 30min-12 hours

As I said in other thread , IF an exchange have those kind of problems just stay away of it til they fix there problems . History telling us failing to fix this kind of problems in a time manner is always a red flag to stay away .

couple of months ago I had really good experience with HitBTC with good amount of money my transactions was almost instant . From what users posts now seems things changed . Hope they fix there problems ASAP .

HitBTC has always been an exchange with mixed user satisfaction levels. It's lately that they have been growing so hard, that there are more complaints than ever before due to them not (yet?) having adapted to this demand.

People just have to accept that if you sign up at whatever shitcoin exchange, you will likely get to experience certain problems one way or another. Yobit has been exactly the same in that aspect.

These exchanges will never be able to offer a professionally operated exchange, and for that reason shouldn't be used in combination with larger asset values. Ok for selling fork coins, not for serious trading.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

That's interesting. May be it will show up in a couple of days then? However in the reports section their is no evidence of the transaction having taken place which is worrying.

Hi Felipe,

I am using Outlook mail provider. Here is a screenshot of the email: I have also just sent a test 0.01 ETH to Kraken which resulted in an identical email from Hit. I have about $11k on their exchange. I am loathe to transfer it if they are having issues.

The problem seems to be with outlook and not with HitBTC. Try to fix it with microsoft's resolution or the solutions listed in windows report. Update here if it was fixed or not.
