lol. I was reading the whole thread and I was just laughing about bitcoin going to 0. Bitcoin has died many times already for all we know. Unfortunately, it has reached almost $20K last year, although the price took a nose dive after that. But it doesn't mean that its over for bitcoin.

Kindly check its past history and you will know that after every crash, bitcoin fought back and hit all-time-high. After everything settles down, I can see that bitcoin topping $20K easy.

Don't create FUD I'm from India, and what the finance minister has stated is that they will stop ILLEGAL use of cryptocurrency in financing illegitimate activities.  

If an Indian is saying it is just to stop illegitimate activities in their country, how come you coming up with the idea that it is ending over there for we guys. Of course they are afraid because they think that it can really disrupt their government. But let's see. This has been a ongoing battle so far and every time that there's a negative news, the price quickly pullback. Right now its just above $9K and its still going down as we speak.

Good thing though is that there are also governments around the world who think otherwise. This war will not end but we can still enjoy crypto specially for those who are living in a crypto friendly nation.

And no, its not over, this is just another test for the market.

The cryptos have fallen dramatically at present due to the negative news as well as the government's ban on Bitcoin trading. Also, the world's most cryptos holdings are China ready to get the Chinese New Year, leading to a steep drop in rates. However, this fall is only temporary; the market will recover and rise again in March.

If you listened to Coin Mastery podcast yesterday, it seems like when it rains it pours - All negative news and FUD coming in the last few weeks - Korea raid/bans, Bitconnect scam, India ban, Tether and Bitfinex subpeona, SEC filing fraud suit against ICO. I kind of agree that it doesn't look like a coincidence.

With that said, I think when the market is bullish - PnD groups and other shillers just give the wrong notion of moon lambos, insane price speculation etc.

Overall, I think cryptospace is being abused by both PnD , Scam artists and colluded attacks by governments.

We as investors should be calm and guide the younger investors of the risk and reward in this market. Also techies should give a fair review of different blockchains and its value in future.

Overall, I think crypto markets are still too young and hence volatile. For those who invested in January, if you sell now you will sell for a greater loss. So give it a few months and reassess the situation in April. There is a reason who whales are still holding and weaker hands sell.

 In my opinion, the important thing is that no government in the world can not affect bitcoin (to take control of bitcoin). The government can't control crypto streams. Seeing that more and more people are interested to invest their money in bitcoin, some governments come up with all sorts of bans on mining, trading and investing in cryptocurrency.

Besides, India hasn't banned cryptocurrency, and the government hasn't said that they would. They just don't recognize it as legal tender, and want anti-money laundering laws. It's the same as many countries that have it legalized. Yeah, there's cause for concern, but not for panic.

Maybe not over but definitely suks big time. January 10-15 was the best date to pull out everything into fiat. I made a mistake and left 50% BTC on the market. Now i lost 50% of it in last 2 weeks and i could bought myself a new premium car out of this. So i am very unhappy with my decision but also happy that decided pull out 50% BTC fast.

There are lot of market uncertainty and market instability. I personally hate all those hyped coins and everything pulls back hard.

There is no sense long term investing now in Alts. There is unknown with the bitcoin which direction goes plus BTC may have another bull run too so alts market can be devastated as it happened in October- November last year. Its so easy to loose everytything as it happened to me last year, lost almost 90% of BTC but i got lucky and recovered in January.

I have learned how to day trade taking little steps. In the actual market situation is the best thing you can do just day trade and take your chances, sitting with only 1 BTC on the market. This way i managed to hit some nice pumps in January and made shit load of money, almost 600% in 7 days.

So yeah, market can be hard in next months for long term holders with upcoming BTC rally down or up. I just sold all my ALts positions with lost today and i dont give a shit about news any more.

Learn the art of daytrading and you all will be happy and able to make money anytime you want no matter where the BTC is or the news.
