Idea on recovering a hack account..

Since the Account recovery is less priority by theymos and cyrus how about if this forum creates another feature which those account owner can recover by putting their sign message on either in ETH or in BTC form on the furom system.

Is it possible to happen?

I'd like to see a mechanism whereby if any ONE of the following details are changed, then NONE of them can then be changed for a minimum of 7 days:-
Password
Password hint/recovery hint (if implemented)
Email address

That would give the account owner (who will have received email notification of the change) a chance to undo the change (link in the email) and reclaim the account without having to bother the admins.

Since the person who hacked your account will most likely delete posts that contains address/es or change it at your profile tab (if you had one there). It'll be safer to use an online screen capture tool such as this one: http://archive.is (recommended)

They can't prioritize the same thing because it is hard to manage this large forum. They can't focus on all loss and hack accounts because they have a lots of things to put their focus on but please be patient. I am sure that they will recover your acount.

I'm not sure I get what you mean, but I'm assuming you mean some sort of automatic 2 factor authentication with a bitcoin address? I don't think a automatic system will be introduced as it's been mentioned a few times that the admins look at each case in depth hence why it takes so long.

Maybe giving global moderators the permissions to be able to recover accounts could be a option though.
