yes i agree! I think this is a point other people miss. Like any other software, bitcoin is a piece of technology that solves the problem. In order to understand the the solution, one must understand the problem. It's not as simple as digital currency. We have digital currency. It's so easy to buy things online with a credit card. But that involves trusting a 3rd party like visa or mastercard. Investing in bitcoin is investing on money that runs on a trust free system. In case of ICOs, that are not just cryptocuccencies, or something you can just purchase, but some project, which can change, improve and make something easier - it will be a technology investment. But if it's just new crypto, that doesn't differ much from others and you're investing just to make a profit for yourself that has nothing to do with technologies. And people tend to invest in something thinking more about what they can gain, but not the value to society.

In case if I'm interested in ICO, I usually check this information:

1. Team. As the team will drive the implementation, team is really important. Great team can develop a great product, even if the idea itself is not really promising, and vice versa of course. I would like to know about team experience, what projects team was working on before, team linkedin profiles, information about advisers. I'm also interested is a clearly defined vision of a product is present and is product roadmap defined in the realistic way.

2. Developers. This is a part of the team, but I would like to note them separately, as they will be responsible for the technical part of the product. I would like to check, do they have a Github accounts, are they actually doing there something. It is important to know, do developers have all necessary technical capabilities to implement the product, what technology stack they prefer, etc.
