Hes not stealing my hashing at the moment, but before i rebooted 6 times i couldnt take my miner away from him. I changed the password three times now. Capital letters, lower case, numbers, etc. He keeps showing up within 5 mins, sometimes making my miner not hash at all. I have an antminer s7, DHCP not static.

Please can anyone help me fix this, I dont want to constantly have to check if hes stealing mining power from me. Tried resetting to factory settings by pressing the little button with a pin, he shows up again and again.

He stole it again, i reset firmware and quickly changed password. If that doesnt work then i guess i will have to learn how to block ports, think that will work?

Try to change your IP address...unplug your router/modem for about 1-2 minutes and then start it again. You should have a new IP address after you start your modem/router and hopefully the hacker won't be able to find you again so quickly. Before he does find you, change your password again.

I found this bit of info so i blocked these ports.

"Your best bet is to block outside access to the ports listed below. Since the root password for ssh is hard coded into the image and each reboot of the miner sets it back to the default one, there is no good way to leave the miner remotely accessible.

Port 80 - Webserver interface for miner configuration
Port 22 - ssh server for remote login
Port 4028 - CGMiner api port for remotely changing pools (has no password and is configured to allow access from anywhere)."

If this doesnt work i will definitely reset the router for a new ip.
Ive been quiet irritated since getting my s7, i found that if fans are not set to 70% the hash rate fluctuates insanely.Which possibly could be the hackers doing, but whatever im fine with 70% the miner sits at 50c ish.

Scratch all that he took it again, Ugh. Resetting router. Will update

Yep resetting router and changing password quickly seems to have kept the hacker out. Thankyou Smiley
