It is hard to manage water pollution especially that human are not humane enough to discipline themselves on how to take care of our environment, especially our water resources.

I really agree but how can we do that if the population rapidly growth. Basically they need shelter, therefore trees will be cut off in order to build houses.

It's easy give heavy penalities to all that don't have the best equipment for preventing bad chemicals to get to water. I think about the big industries that want to save money where they can. We also need to prevent bad substances from getting into the air because it comes back in form of rain and polutetes everything.

The government of my country recently led a crackdown on the some illegal mining which was causing heavy pollution int the water bodies here and am sure that if they were not stopped, they were going to completely destroy the rivers and that would be extremely bad for the ecosystem.

Water pollution is a change of state in a water reservoir such as lakes, rivers, oceans and groundwater due to human activities. Lakes, rivers, oceans and groundwater are an important part of the human life cycle and are one part of the hydrologic cycle. In addition to also drain the water drain sediment and pollutants. Various kinds of functions are very helpful to human life. The greatest utilization of lakes, rivers, oceans and ground water is for agricultural irrigation, raw materials of drinking water, as rain water and waste water drainage, and even potentially as a tourist attraction.

Causes of Water Pollution

Water pollution sources include industrial waste, agriculture and household. There are several types of pollutants that can enter the waters: materials that contain disease seeds, materials that require much oxygen for pengurainya, organic chemicals from industrial or agricultural fertilizer waste, materials that are not sediment (sediment), and materials containing radioactive and heat. Water pollution can also be caused by various things and have different characteristics, namely:
1. Increased nutrient content can lead to eutrophication.

2. Organic waste, such as comber water, causes increased oxygen demand in the receiving water which leads to reduced oxygen that can have severe impacts on the entire ecosystem.

3. Industries dump various kinds of pollutants into their waste water such as heavy metals, organic toxins, oils, nutrients and solids. The wastewater has a thermal effect, especially those released by the power plant, which can also reduce the oxygen in the water.

The problem starts with people, we need to be disciplined because whatever effort we put in to lessening or even to maintain our water sources  clean, it will be impossible as long as people throw and pollute our water sources. Even if there's no government projects to do this, if people are disciplined enough water sources will not be polluted.

There is certainly the Means to tackle Water pollution but whether there is the political will or not is an entirely different matter. But it is so sad to see the terrible state that Water systems are in, and the impacts on species living there and human beings too.

Each country should have a very strict laws about this and also hire an inspector that has a very high morale. Nowadays, big industries just pay the inspectors and get away with all the violations.
