You should expect worst than 30% i have seen bitcoin grows,there will be no challenge for the people if theres no correction like this,weak hands will always fall and holders will always win,you need to know there are bull and bears pulling each other,if the bears started to sleep bulls will come.

Jokes aside, I think the recent rumor that India was banning Bitcoin (which turned out to be just a false rumor), and the drama that Tether's auditor left them without performing an audit, then U.S. regulators from CFTC sent subpoena to Tether and Bitfinex, all contributed to what's happening on the markets now.  But then again, markets can go up and down without any reason at all...

Looking at the bigger picture, I feel there's a lot of room to grow for cryptocurrencies as a whole.  For Bitcoin, there are quite a few proposals / projects that are under development to improve scalability, privacy, security, and adoption.  Here's a short article from Bitcoin Magazine listing some of them : https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/keep-eye-out-these-bitcoins-tech-trends-2018/

So I'm not worried about the current price drop.  I think we have an exciting year ahead of us.

Not a little panic in me, dude. There will always be times for any coin to go down. And Bitcoin is not exempted of it even if it is the strongest and the leader of the flock. There is no need to worry. After all, this is not the first time that Bitcoin came down from a much higher spot.

Panic is for the weak. The people came flocking upon seeing bitcoin nearly 20,000 and dropping the minute it steps back to 4digits. More and more news coming from south korea then india but all misinterpreted or merely fake. Whales awaited and party buy as soon as weak hands lets go of their coins. We the strong will hodl and see that bitcoin will recover and we'll wait for the day that 2018 will prove to be a promising year for cryptocurrency.

I think the best thing we can do is to go with the flow. I mean buy some while the price is still down and then hold it until you need it. This is a natural occurrence in this cryptocurrency industry so it is better to grab every opportunity we have. Let us make early adoptors as an inspiration because they just keep and forget their coins on their wallets and came back when it already has millions of profit. If only I have money to invest huge profit would be as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Yeah maybe you are correct that bitcoin is continuously dropping. The price of bitcoin now is below 9,000 USD and it is scary to see that the value of it is continuously dropping. At this moment its a huge value dropping and i almost lost 40% of my investment in bitcoin right now but its hard to full out because i want get another chance that my money will back again. Hoping the value of bitcoin will recover again it more than 10,000 USD and lets see what will be happen in a few days coming to the value of bitcoin.

Yeah maybe you are correct that bitcoin is continuously dropping. The price of bitcoin now is below 9,000 USD and it is scary to see that the value of it is continuously dropping. Keep your investment in bitcoin, So many FUD for crypto. But I glad to invest all of my money in ethereum while the price of each ethereum was $250 and I still get huge return from there. And ethereum was even strong than bitcoin. As far as I can see about the price of bitcoin will be dropping more if there will be more FUD comes to the crypto space. But this is predictable for a lot of expert.

If you want my advice buy NOW. market should return the end of Feb...done the same thing every year for the past 4 years. However in the long term - I believe this is the final year for king BTC. It will be dethroned by newer, faster, and more private blockchains. BTC is old and slow tech, something that just cannot compete with the new blood. It will always be the genesis but like diners club, will fade into memory and only be accepted a a few high end places in the end.
