No matter what the governments does, it can never stop the adoption of cryptocurrencies but the regulations are needed to curb scammers and note that even though in the news, the government are saying the coins are not legal tender, why are they trying to find ways of taxing exchanges?

No bro, this has nothing to do with the bloodshed in crypto world. India's participation is very low in the cryptocurrency world. So these kind of news might affect Indian crypto enthusiasts, but globally it doesn't matter much. The red you are seeing is mainly because there is too much uncertainty about crypto future around the globe. Power companies are not willing to provide electricity, Govts. are tightening on the cryptos, people getting tired of hackers/phishers, scams ICOs, pumps and dumps and so may more reasons. I think until we address these issues, we can never expect crypto world to be fully accepted by the masses.

As for your question about holding or selling Bitcoins, I would just hold my Bitcoins. There are a lot of new records which Bitcoin has to break in the near future.

Yesterday the price is still stable around $11k. but after the bad news came then the price fell below $10k. it may have little effect on the bitcoin market. but it's true what you said that bitcoin has been in the downward trend since some time ago and there has not been a recover yet.
