Julian Hosp, vlogger and TenX Member said in December on several meetups: BTC will touch 6k and 60k - but it's hard to tell which one first

So, I believe in this... 6k then rocket..

I won't lose much if it crashed to zero, just some dreams - which are far away without crypto anyways

at today bitcoin price has dropped again to $7000 even almost below of that price and i believe bitcoin will rebounce back although i don't know when it's time but to avoid huge losses i think i have to hold my bitcoin but i'm thinking to buy back again as the price is pretty low currently

I am very sure that bitcoin will bounce back and have the price that everyone is looking for.  I am positive about that and no matter what happens I will not sell my bitcoin.  I do not want to regret again anything about bitcoin.  I will just keep my btc no matter what.

I agree, I'm also a Long-term HODLer, or hold till 0 like I say lol...Anyhow these couple of weeks are pretty frustrating, but I believe in the long-term vision of crypto. I studied previous bear markets, where price of BTC fell 90%, then 80% and alwas re-bounded, so we just need to hold tight and not get confused by all the shit news and propaganda that is being stirred.

Cheers

If I look back at May 2017 the price was around 2500$, of course since then much more money went in to the market and more player joined. However not sure if $7000 is pretty low.
Anybody wanna share his opinion until which price bitcoin might fall?  I guess $5000 is easily possible.

Haha only idiots hold , smart people sell during peaks

I think not as you express. this is normal, ups and downs of values can not be read. this is what must be faced in a world of fluctuations. continue to move and have to think quickly in making decisions.

Not sure if comparing past times when it successfully bounced will apply to this moment. This time feels different with all this big banks and old money dudes fighting back. Its truly a critical moment we are facing now.

In the past dumps, a lot of people really panicked and sold their bitcoin immediately also in that time the price is still not these expensive, it is like 3 times the price of now even 4 times I think. The point is, most of them compared the past dumps and pumps and it most of the time the same but not the same on the price, but the same in terms of the movement of the price.

Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt is lurking the cryptomarket now, but this is intentionally made by those who wanted to get bitcoin at a very low price.  Just you know, OP have shared a very important facts about Bitcoin crash and being able to pull itself up and break the ATH is also shown there.  If you have seen this kind of stuff, there is no need to worry just hodl during the crash and sell at peak.

hard to believe but we all know that no matter what may happen bitcoin will always bounce back and go to the moon we will see the price that all of us wanted to see for. I trust and strongly believe about bitcoin.

People speak of Bitcoin bouncing back as if they already know the future. Bitcoin has scaling issues, govts and banks have started banning it. What's worse, there's going to be a big meeting with regulating Bitcoin globally as one of its agendas.

Haha only idiots hold , smart people sell during peaks

you are only 50% correct, the second part is right.

holding something that you believe will appreciate over time (in long term) doesn't make you an idiot. and many are doing this because they do not trust exchanges to start trading bitcoin there and other means of selling are not good enough.
holding something that is useless and has an illusion instead of future (ie altcoins) makes you an idiot though.

I agree, first not all people who invest on bitcoins/market does not have time to check the prices or trade everyday. As an example warren buffet is holder he hold stocks for long term, he is just a billionaire do you think his strategy is stupid.
If you know that you bought has great potential price correction will not matter because in the long run their value will go up.

To be fair, the holders have already profited, especially for the early adopters, therefore they are not total idiots. In fact, they were geniuses to hold bitcoin because some of them may be already millionares today. We can’t say that does who will hold altcoins are idiots as well because there are those which have the potential to be of high vaue in the future. Not all holders are idiots, but not all holders may profit as well. I think panic sellers are the ones who should be called idiots, or perhaps a lighter term would be inexperienced beginners.

Yes, I'm not worried about the bitcoin crash. I'm not going to sell my bitcoins now. I'll lose a lot if I sell.
I now patiently hold my bitcoin, its quantity has not changed, I believe it will soon return to normal,
I can  buy bitcoin at a lower price now, how happy it is.

Well I believe bitcoin will bounce back after this deep fall, we have seen in the past how bitcoin was able to recovered from the previous blood bath  and in a short time to come the price of bitcoin will increase because of the volatile nature of bitcoin one can not accurately predict the time this rise will come but I believe very soon.

All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again.

This time isn't different, that's why they're called cycles.

From your Statement, it is very obvious if you are a new person in bitcoin world, when the price is below, you feel panic and immediately sell

Well, i just checked and its not only bitcoin that is falling.Almost all the first 100 coins listed on coinmarketcap are with a negative percentage. I am very confident the prices will start rising together again very soon. Am gonna hold my coins nor matter how low they fall.Selling at this point will be of no benefit since they have already fallen to lower values. Within the next 1 or 2 months,we will smile again.

I feel bad for all the new BTC investors that bought into all the hype as it was skyrocketing to $20k. I feel even worse for the ones that sold for massive losses. Only those that hold have any chance of making their money back.

hey there,

btc price dumped from 19499$ to 7924$

I think it's a huge crash.I would love to wait for a little bit to fall it's value upto 6k dollars. Then i would love to decide to invest in btc with the hope of re-bouncing  it's value with the expectation of more than 16k dollars
in the upcoming time.

Regards
