Don't be afraid. Unless you invested during crazy pumps and when bitcoin was heading to 20K. Or if you invested when bitcoin was 10K. What's the big deal anyway, lower price means lower fees and honestly I wold like to see bitcoin at some "normal" and stable price rather than this.
I also don't like thought that people invested/are investing in bitcoin just because they want to be rich. It was meant to be internet money and everyone should use it like that. It is my opinion.

its possible that bitcoin will reach that kind of price but dont worry about it because its a big opportunity to invest more on bitcoin and wait until it goes soar high again on the charts

That's an interesting way to look at it. There's too many people invested in it right now after profit. So it would be pretty good to see some of them drop off.

But with that being said, I think btc has still too much going for it right now to hit $5k and stabilize around there.

Monday he will be $ 4600. I sold everything for $ 9500 and buy only 5000 again. that will be tomorrow. today the course goes down much further. everyone has to sell so I can finally buy. and ethereum will probably be $ 600 and I will buy at 300

Since it reached $7k today there is a big chance it will reach $5k or lower, I would say $3k at least, then it should start to rise again. I am waiting for BTC to hit $5k before I start buying again.

Everything's possible, it may go that price or it may go higher, but don't worry its normal, try to invest in some altcoins right now, invest from the best altcoins of 2018 like ethereum or litecoin, some data can be found in the coinmarketcap.com you can see it there. But as I say don't worry because everything will go back to its proper places, just be patient.

I think we can hit new bottom at ~ 6500-7000 $ because in 2 weeks futures of cboe expire plus chinese new year, so more crypto will cashout , so dont panic and hodl.

This can’t go on forever its bound to start to recover from the dip which has taken forever, and the interesting thing about cryptos is they are related and the value depends on bitcoin maintaining a good price.

I believe it will stop at 6500 but i am not sure of course.All i can say is don't panic sell.

It would be nice to see bitcoin to start moving against such prices

I believe it will not be more than $ 8k, do not panic held on to what you have or if there is more money then buy and invest better. there will be a period where the epidemic bitcoin rise again as the previous year.

I read somewhere that the miners would never let it drop below 6k because of the costs to mine. I have no idea if that's true or not. Anyone confirm?

Less likely. I think there is still a possibility that it will go down below $8,000. It might even happen in the next several hours. But $5,000 is too low already. I don't think it will dip as low as that. As a matter of fact, the whales must already be accumulating right now with so cheap a price. Remember that the All Time High hit $20,000 and it is impossible that the last All Time High will not be surpassed. Perhaps it will even be surpassed in the first quarter of the year 2018.

Guys are you blind or what. Bitcoin is falling like crazy. If we are lucky it will sto at 1k or so and it will stay there forever. But it could drop even lower to 100usd or less.

I was rather surprised, the moment I saw this thread, I checked the coinmarket cap asap and see that it was really at $8000 though a more than 15% negative  I'm thinking now of buying more bitcoin since its price has become really quite low. I think it is still tolerable I actually don't care even if it reaches $5000 because I am planning to hold it for a long period of time.

Speaking about cryptocurrencies, Arun Jaitley, the Finance Minister of India, just concluded the announcement of India’s 2018 budget, where he said, and we quote,
““The government does not recognise cryptocurrencies as legal tender or coin and will take all measures to eliminate the use of these cryptoassets in financing illegitimate activities or as part of the payments system,” Jaitley said.”
He further went on to say that the government will keep exploring working on the blockchain technology.
