I just started BitLotto Jr. It operates in a very similar fashion to BitLotto. The main difference is the price- 0.05 per ticket and the draws occur every Wednesday 00:00:00 UTC. The winner is calculated in the same way as BitLotto. The address for the draw is: 1fTfE6DrBua28gY5Lb8FZYQznU5VP7rjxThis address will be used for a while and any late payments just go over to the next weeks draw. Remember: -buy each ticket separately by making each payment only 0.05 -you can buy as many tickets as you want to increase odds of winning -only purchase the tickets using Bitcoin running on your computer - no Ewallets such as MyBitcoin or Instawallet -back up your wallet in case it is lost. Payment can only go to the address that sent the payment. More info: http://bitlotto.com/jr.php and http://www.bitlotto.comGOOD LUCK!!!!

*Next Draw Feb 1* BitLotto: monthly raffle (0.25 BTC per ticket) Completely transparent and impossible to manipulate who wins. TOR TOR2WEB Donations to: 1JQdiQsjhV2uJ4Y8HFtdqteJsZhv835a8J are appreciated.

Are you going to show the pot size for JR.? I don't see it anywhere. The page looks just cluttered with text and confusing
Ya, it's on my to do list. And yes, I know my website is cluttered a bit. I'm not really a designer. That has to be fixed and cleaned up too!!

The Jr. website does throw a 404 for me atm.
In general I like a weekly drawing. But ticket prize of 0.05 might be to much hassle. I don't mind the 0.25 of the monthly one as almost all of it is going to the prize anyway. With the higher prize I will only buy 1 or 2 tickets. With 0.05 I can see many people buying a lot of tickets.

Doh. That's because I changed it to php instead of html so it shows to jackpot size. Should work now. If people buy a lot of 0.05 tickets that's ok hey? Since you would have only spent 0.05 and the jackpot could be high. Your risk vs winnings will always be a nice fit since it's a raffle.

Yeah it's working now! What I meant to say is that it's just so much effort to buy tickets at 0.05 as its so low value. To make the jackpot into something interesting you need thousands of tickets every week yet there is only a limited number of individual possible punters. It would be easier if one could buy say 10 tickets in one transaction, but with the very secure and open way the lottery works that's likely not possible.

Well, you could always play BitLotto instead of BitLotto Jr! Both are meant for different markets. If you want to send a lot to the cheaper one just copy and paste. Shouldn't take long for 10 tickets. Maybe a minute.

Aha, I won! What a lucky week I placed three bets on it throughout the past few days, and apparently it paid off! But really, did luck even have a role in this? I'm not just CERN; I'm CERN. You know, the people with the LHC? Black holes, etc? Time travel aside, maybe I'll let someone else win next time, just for karma :p

Hey Bitlotto, I am looking at the blockexplorer transaction page and see many "sent" transactions...What's up with that? Shouldn't they all be there and you only send one, at the end of the round?
It's just the way Bitcoin sends the transaction. Because I get a bunch of 0.05 BTC pieces it will send them all separately to the next person all as the same transaction. The next time the winner spends them they'll be grouped and won't do that.
