For people who ordered S9’s through Bitmain for January deliveries, have they been delivering? I purchased a eBay preorder back in November through a reputable seller for a January 25-31st S9 shipment from Bitmain. When I inquire about the status of the order the ebays seller says he has gotten no info from Bitmain so I am wondering if they are behind on their deliveries.

If this is not the right place to ask, please direct me.

I had an order due January 21-30th and it actually showed up just after Christmas, pretty much a full month early.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Same, I think this is a lesson on why you should only order via Bitmain directly.

I just re-read this and realized you made the mistake of buying from a reseller. As you have seen multiple people have confirmed delivery so im betting you just bought from an unethical seller. he is either mining on them before shipping or he oversold his preorders and is just gonna screw people.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Uhmm...Why wouldn't you order directly from Bitmain? Isn't something like 45 days recharge policy of Ebay(not sure)? If seller screwed you, you can try to make a case on ebay, depending on with which type of payment you have go(cc or paypal). Paypal is around 180 days i think?

Thanks for the replies. The ebay seller provided an invoice today:

Does this look legit?

My understanding of the order process with Bitmain is you must watch Twitter for them to tweet about a batch and then you must go to the link they provide and commit before they are all sold out which happens in minutes. Is this correct? And you must pay by either USD wire transfer or BCH?

So they showed you an invoice, but that proves nothing. For all you know they've been mining since late Dec early Jan. You do have to keep an eye on Bitmain, Twitter, Facebook, and the Telegram bot along with this forum will help you a lot.

This is a very common scam that was happening on Ebay, Aliexpress etc. at the end of last year, less so now it seems.
What they were doing is claim to have a miner on order on a batch due for delivery very soon but what they really do is order a miner once they have your money. Then it’s just a game of stalling and excuses.
Basically you end up just paying the guy a huge commission to orde a miner from Bitmain for you on a future batch.

Yes If a new batch opens they will post it on their SNS so upon checking bitmain opened a new batch for S9's on: November 7, 2017 and Novermber 10, 2017. There's no openings on November 27 (or anywhere near that) which is the date they paid the order according from the invoice they sent. Also slots on S9's tend to be taken pretty fast so I doubt that Batch November 10 lasted until 27  Huh

Anyways, You can check the validity of this invoice by contacting bitmain's support  Wink

Again thanks for all the replies.

I sent a message to Bitmain via this link https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/requests/new inquiring about this order. Is this the correct place to ask them since this is not my order?

I think better to subscribe to bitmain directly for me i always receive email notification message from them if they had stocks base on what i receive these days they notified me about A3 miner which is the latest miner they released last month.
If you paid your order from ebay via paypal i think better to ask for refund and buy alternative miner and buy directly to bitmain.. I suggest you to buy the antminer T9+ which is still available..
Since you order last year november its not a normal that you still didn't receive your miner yet because there are lots of november order got their miner same as mine when i was received my miner january from november order..
My guess i think they are running first the miner to get the small benefits and earn profit they send them to buyer. this is just what i think since you said its reputable seller so this is just what i think anything could be possible..

Yes that's the form for their support and it's fine since you can ask them anything as long as it's related to bitmain.

You can also follow up your inquiry in their SNS:
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Bitmain
Twitter: https://twitter.com/BITMAINtech

Bitmain would not tell us anything about the invoice, but we did get our money back from the seller.
