What happen is still normal, btc is now on downtrend and anytime from now it will start its uptrend again, nevertheless this is the best time to invest in btc.

Absolutely false. This is bad advice. There is no reason to think bitcoin will continue up. Why would it warrant such a high price when it is useless as a currency, useless as a store of value and faces more and more alt coin competition every day? I believe it will eventually reach zero or something close. This bubble is definitely and obviously different from previous ones.

It is struggling to get to 10k.  Every time up a bit and down a bit.  I don't think it will go up much any time soon.  Why do we need this crashes and booms.  Is it a good thing.  No it isn't.  It's only good for people wanting a quick buck from other folks money.

It is already given that Bitcoin is naturally votile so fluctuations on its price such as this, is nothing to bw worried of. Its marjet price at this moment is now starting to increase which is a sign that there is still a light for Bitcoin. This dump is jist temporary so continue holding

It is struggling before but look now its back again at $9,100 so this is bitcoin and back in action.

That is because bitcoin is volatile.

they are making price forecasts, it is not something they are absolutely sure of, so you should look at price forecasts as if it were a probability, just that!

Just wait. This is indeed unfortunate since expectations are drawn last year. But keep in mind that there are still 10 more months for this year and many things may happen in the middle of 2018. Bitcoin's price is now stadting to increase which is something to look forward with. Just continue holding and investing for the future. I believe that its market price will fully recover soon

50000 is kind of exaggerated but feasible in the future but not the near one.
I would say maybe in 2019?

If the bitcoin growth rate is the same as 2017 it will not be exaggerated, but probably can not say so because each year is not the same. It is not urgent because the bitcoin will rise again.

It's just normal profit taking. And bitcoin was never going to go to $50,000. That would require billions to flood into bitcoin - not likely to happen. Bitcoin is still within it's rising channel that started last year, but it will take until December 2018 for it to finally hit the ATH of Dec 2017.

Did you look back over the 2 year chart? How about 1 year? 6 months? Yeah, you'll see this pattern a lot. The thing is, there are SO many HUGE names out there that support crypto that even the dumbass sheep that don't understand it are now coming to crypto as a safe haven asset. Omg the Winklevoss twins are billionaires because of Bitcoin? I'm in! Durp. Anyway, it works out for us, but at the same time we'll continue to see MAJOR swings because of that HUGE pump that we saw. That was a little nuts, with people just throwing money at anything and having it double. No worries, only down 60% from the ATH. You can't kill Bitcoin that easily.

The title of this thread makes no sense to me.

As to the drop OP alluded to, what do you expect?  People are afraid that bitcoin is being manipulated!  If the market isn't a free one, then people are going to be a bit reluctant to invest in it.  Wouldn't you be?  And I'm not so sure that the people making such claims are wrong.  There could well be bots driving up the price using tether that was made out of thin air...who knows?  It's a hairy market, a volatile one, a very unpredictable one.  IMO, we needed a big correction because we rose way too fast.  And hey, bitcoin is still at $9000--that's not a bad increase at all.  It's just too bad I don't still have any of the bitcoin I bought at $400.

Don't feel panic, bitcoin is still above $9000 amd this downtrend is really as usual volatilisation in crypto market.
It is obviously the opportunity for those who can understand the situation, bitcoin will again rise too fast as the way it decreased because i see it has still strong supoort in background from whale investors
