I think in your approach there is some strange mystical side of the approach) it is necessary to Filter out both negative and positive news about not only bitcoin, but the entire market as a whole. There are many critical factors of influence today.

Im not planning to increase my btc portfolio. Instead of it, i want to increase my altcoins portfolio.
I think like this because from my opinion, altcoins price is more stable than btc. Swing trading with a good strategy can increase your portfolio too.

Convert your btc to altcoin since daytrading is your strategy ,from this choosing coin that can grow in short period can give you profit

Unless you can wait for long so holding is the best option to gain bitcoin,patiently waitinfor the big growth is what i am doing and hope you do too

I agree with your way to profit. Also I decided buy BTC now - good price for me. Another approach for take a profit - it is wait) It is difficult for me, but I hold some coins more 6 months.

I buy Altcoins when its dip and hold till when there is green mode in the market and when the altcoin increases then the value will keep increasing in btc.

It is right way to increase our bitcoin and other altcoin and earn from it. Always buy coins in a low price and sell them in a high price then definitely we could earn from our coins and increase our bitcoin portfolio.  
Even in the bearish market if you follow this technique i think there is no way one cannot earn good amount. The key to success is to learn about all the altcoins and keep an eye on their news to enter and exit in the market at a right time.

Well, the strategy is quite simple. You buy on the Dip and sell at the Highest price possible. I bought Bitcoin @ $1000+ last year and I am still smiling, because I can still make a huge profit at the current price.

If you wait long enough and buy on the Dip, then mini Dumps/crashes like this is no risk at all. People are very short sighted and wants to Day trade bitcoins. <short-term>

the way is you have to determine your own strategy, you must be consistent with the strategy that you make.
My strategy is to look for some of the best coins then I buy them, I don't focus on just one coin but I buy a few coins to avoid even greater losses if one of the coins is not what we expected
