The OP came out of hiatus and locked the thread, then deleted all but two of his posts, most, if not all, quoted: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2301946.0

It was a scam the moment that it came out. Why? It's just another bitconnect clone that is using the same back story as a "lending platform" that is operating in fact, a ponzi scheme. It's really no different to ponzi cloud mining or HYIPs.

But yeah, the OP had deleted all his posts as well, meaning that he's probabl just going to run with the ICO money.

Investing in lending platforms is dumb, because even if you do make money it's still going to be tied up mostly in their investment plans, that you can't withdraw until a specified date. And it's mindblowing how people are still investing in these after the crash of bitconnect.

Here's a special offer to all those hodling ECH. For every U$100 you Seed to Church of the Ponzion Mind and receive 191 CPM, you're able to purchase twice that amount of CPM via U$200 worth of ECH, namely 382 CPM, 573 CPM in total remitted to a singular CPM wallet address.

The above offer is also available to patrons hodling other lending program coins, e.g. BCC, BTB, NEOC, REC, etc., and limited to U$1,000 worth of LPcoins. Here's your chance to liquidate what's deemed worthless hodlings and be at the top of CPM's matrix.

Here's our new thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3297463.0 - depicting the acceptance of ECH or ALL other quasi-worthless tokens for Seeds of Faith by Church of the Ponziarian Mind.

Isn't ethconnect a ripoff version of bitconnect? And bitconnect has already collapsed. Lending platforms are just ponzi schemes in the name of cryptocurrencies. Somebody must be extremely dumb to invest in this coin.

Ethconnect is just an outright scam, they're not even trying to pay out any funds to early investors.

Impossible to withdraw funds once theyre paid in. How they are able to run this scam for so long is beyond me. DO NOT USE!!!!

Again, it's just people's stupidity. If nobody invests in it, then they would have long gone out of business. Good advice.

I block explored the BTC and ETH ICO deposit addresses and they contained piddly amounts of these coins. I'm only 10 pages into the ANN thread for Ethconnect so far, but how were "millions of dollars" lost here if very few people actually put their money into it in the first place?

The main page is down but the ICO page is still up: www.ethconnectico.com

Can we have a roll call of people who don't mind sharing that / how they lost money on Ethconnect?

I'm writing an article on it but I don't really want to have to read all 147 pages of comments.

Thanks.

Anyone remember Ethconnect still? :p
It was a millionaire maker for certain!

They sold atleast some of the ICO ether they got from us "investors" at a Vietnamese site called Remitano.

Here's Ethconnects address: https://etherscan.io/address/0xcf5be6f2d33f43606c82f5d2f17b164fa5af9812
still has 2000Eth there.

Can anyone find Ethconnects BTC address/es?

They DID move alot!  And they also collected Bitcoin.
Some of the Eth was sent to and sold at a Vietnamese Exchange/localbitcoinstype? Remitano.

Good job on the article.
